I held her in my arms, her tiny figure wrapped into a pale pink blanket. I smiled as her tiny fingers wrapped around one of mine. My back was leaned up against the bed, lifted to be like a chair. I heard the door open quietly and close quietly, Justin returning. We had just got Jaycee to stop crying and we weren't gonna risk behind loud. Justin handed me the water bottle he was gone to get me and I thanked him. He returned to the spot he sat in which was right next to me on the bed. His knees were propped up with his back against the bed just like mine was.

"You wanna hold her?" I asked his softly. He grinned widely and nodded. We both helped each other pass our fragile little girl on, where she was secure in Justin's arms. They had just let the visitors know we were ready for guests, now that I felt better and we had some alone time. I couldn't remove my eyes from Justin who looked at Jaycee with adoring eyes. Our smiles never seemed to disappear.

"She's gonna be beautiful. Just like her mother." Justin whispered, not removing his eyes from her. I blushed and kissed his cheek. "She's perfect already."

"And she's only two hours old." I said, running my hand on the pink blanket. Justin's finger was wrapped up in her small hand, and I figured she must be sleeping. She was calm, just like Justin and I. I took this time to drink down the cold water bottle Justin had brought me, feeling refreshed when I leaned my head back on his shoulder. Jaycee was tiny in his arms, making her look like an ant.

It felt good not to have so much wait onto my stomach. Sure there was still slight weight, but nothing I couldn't work off easily. I was still very tired from everything, but it also felt good not to be in pain anymore. No it didn't feel good, it felt beyond amazing. When they first handed Jaycee to me, Justin and I both cried. I knew I would and I guessed Justin would too. Everything was so perfect. I had Justin. I had Jaycee. I had my family. "I love you." I said softly to Justin. He looked at me, smiling.

"I love you, too." He kissed my lips, letting them linger there for a few seconds. We pulled away and looked back down at Jaycee. "And I love you, too." Justin spoke adorably to her making me giggle. He's the perfect father already.

We were brought our of our daze from the door opening. It was Pattie. Justin signaled for her to keep quiet as she made her way towards us. She smiled when she saw Jaycee, tears forming in her eyes. "She's beautiful." Pattie whispered, taking my hand. I thanked her before Justin asked if Pattie wanted to hold her. She did of course, so she sat on the cushioned chair and held her. "It seems like everybody is here. Jeremy and your parents with Ally. Jazzy and Jaxon are down there too but they might be too loud. Stephanie, Ryan, and Lila are down there too." Pattie told us. We made small talk about Jaycee before she left. She wanted the others to come visit too. The next people to walk in were my parents and Ally. Justin told Ally she had to stay quiet, which she listened to. Mom was crying, no surprise and dad looked like he wanted to.

"I'm so proud of you two." Mom said to Justin and I with Jaycee in her arms. Justin thanked her for us, and then we let Ally hold her. Ally was sweet with her, being careful and good. I smiled at them. When they left, Lila, grandma and my aunt came in. Lila was cooing over how cute Jaycee was and how much she would come visit. My aunt and grandma was the same way. They told us they would be back before they left.

Jeremy and Justin's step mom came in which Justin was walking around the room with Jaycee in his arms. I watched his every move, how cute he was with her. Justin handed see to me so he could hug his father and step mom. He sat on the edge of the bed when he finished. "Look at my son. Such a great young man." Jeremy said proudly, actually shedding a tear.

"He really is great." I added, causing Jeremy and Justin's step mom, Erin to laugh. They both held Jaycee before exiting the room. They told us they would bring Jazzy as Jaxon by later.

Ryan and Stephane were the last guests. Stephanie hugged my tightly, Ryan giving Justin a man hug. "Look at my best friend. Just had a baby and she's still pretty." Stephanie said causing a laugh to escape my lips. Justin and Ryan were indulged into a different conversation already. "I'm proud of you man. You've done good." I managed to hear Ryan say.

"Can I hold her?" Stephanie asked and I nodded. She scooped her out of my arms, sitting on the chair next to the bed. "Jaycee, I know you don't know what I'm saying, but I just want to let you know you have the collets parents ever." Steph said very softly and I laughed. Ryan congratulated us and then kept a conversation going.

When Jaycee started crying again, I took her from Stephanie. I have her milk from the little bottle like the doctor had shown us, Justin helping me along the way. Soon enough, everybody left and Justin and I were alone again. I knew it would be long before someone else came back in. I yawned, cuddling into Justin's shoulder.

"Sleep. I got her." He whispered. I didn't argue as he took Jaycee from my arms and sat in the cushioned chair. It wasn't even five minutes before sleep overtook me.

"You guys are gonna be great parents." My mom said softly, leaning her head on my shoulder. I smiled leaned mine on hers, while looking down at Jaycee. "But, kiss sleep goodbye." She added causing a chuckle to escape my lips. I glanced at Hailee who had been asleep for the past hour, with no sign of waking up soon. Mom had stayed with me while everybody else went to get dinner. She didn't want to leave me alone. I would have been fine alone but I'm grateful for my moms presence.

I knew everybody was back when Hailee's mom came in the room. My mom and her got into a conversation about who knows what and then decided to take a walk. That left only Hailee, Jaycee and I in the room. Jaycee was asleep in my arms, the pink blanket wrapped around her tiny body. I hadn't even noticed someone enter the room until I heard them clear their throats. I looked up seeing Hailee's dad standing in the doorway. "Justin." He greeted, sitting down in the chair across from me. I didn't respond, not only because he scared me but also because I didn't know what to say to him.

"Would you like to hold her?" I asked after a few moments of silence. He nodded holding out his arms. I gave Jaycee to him and then say back down. I tapped my foot, not wanting the awkward silence to fill the room.

"Look kid," he spoke and I instantly got nervous. "I know that you and I have not been the best of friends. I know what you were like in high school and most people like that end up going back to how they used to be. I don't want that to happen to my daughter and her ending up heartbroken."

I spoke before he could continue. "Mr Ellis, your daughter means the world to me. I would never do anything to hurt her. And I wouldn't want that for our own daughter, now. I love Hailee forever. I'm never gonna leave her. I'm never gonna hurt her. I'm never gonna cheat on her. She's the best thing that ever happened to me." He slightly nodded and looked back at Jaycee. I looked around the room to Hailee, who was sleeping facing me, but as soon as I saw a wide smile on her lips I knew she wasn't sleeping. "Hails."

"I wanted to listen." She opened her eyes, speaking softly. I smiled and laughed quietly. She sat up on the bed, not wasting any time to look at her father. "Dad, if that was your way of trying to apologize for being so rude to Justin than it really sucked." She said and I held back a laugh. Her dad sighed, looking back at me.

"Justin, I'm sorry for being so rude to you." He said, mocking Hailee's words. I smiled and nodded.

"Apology accepted." I mumbled, just wanting to get on his good side.

"Good." Hailee clapped her hands before holding them out to her dad. "Now give me my daughter." Her dad chuckled and stood up, placing Jaycee in Hailee's arms. I watched them from the chair I sat in, seeing how adorable my two favorite girls were together. I could stare at the forever and never get bored. I watched Hailee talk to Jaycee in a sweet baby voice and smiled down at her.

This is never gonna get old.
