Chapter 15

-Hailee-

I didn't end up waking up until the next morning. I mentally sighed in relief that I didn't have to go through all that pain. When I woke up the pain wasn't as bad. I was still sore but I felt a lot better than yesterday. Justin had went down to the food court to be us something to eat. I was starving. I haven't eaten in days. The doctor had just left so I waited patiently for Justin to return. I heard the door open expecting Justin but it wasn't.

"Hey Pattie!" I greeted seeing her smile and put her stuff down.

"Hey darling it's so good to see you!" She said coming over to me and hugging me.

"It's good to see you too." I replied pulling out of the hug.

"How are you?" She asked sitting in the chair placed next to my bed.

"I'm doing good. Doctors said that I'm recovering good." I explained to her.

"That's good to hear." She said hugging me again. I laughed hearing the door open.

"Hey babe do you want the sa- oh, hey mom." Justin started to say but stopped. He shut the door and gave her a quick hug. Then he sat on the edge of the bed next to me and handed me a bag.

"Thank you J." I said kissing his cheek. I opened the bag seeing my favorite kind of donut. I smiled and looked at him. "You went and got these?"

"Of course. It was just across the street, so why now?" He told me wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Thank you." I said and kissed his cheek again. I took the donut out of the bag and took a huge bite out of it. "Mmm. So good." I saw ores the flavor. This was the perfect thing to eat for the first time in days.

"Oh Hailee I stopped by the house and Stephanie said she wants to come but she's sick. That's why she isn't here. And I got you your laptop and some clothes." Pattie said going over to her bags while I continued to eat my donut.

"Thank you Pattie!" I said relief that I would actually have something to do with my laptop. She handed it to me before I logged on and went to Twitter and Facebook. My notifications were blowing up with questions.

What happened?
Are you okay?
Are you hurt?

I felt Justin rest his chin on my shoulder and he kissed my neck. I smiled at him and wrapped my arm around his bicep.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear. His breath hitting my skin making me get goosebumps.

"I love you too." I whispered back kissing his cheek. "You know, I think your hair looks really good like that." I told him since it wasn't spiked.

"I try." He joked running his hand through it. I laughed seeing Pattie smiling at us.

"You two are so cute together." She cooed. I blushed. "I'm so glad he found you Hailee. You're good for him."

"I'm so glad I found her too." Justin said wrapping his arms around me from behind. I heard the sound of a camera and I turned around to see Pattie taking pictures.

"I had too." She said smiling. I giggled while blushing and saw Justin smiling also.

"Nobody can resist our love." He whispered.

"Justin it's your turn." I said getting annoyed since Justin kept getting sidetracked. We were in the middle of the game Candy Land the doctors had let us borrow and Justin was mad because I was winning. He took his turn and his mouth made the perfect 'O' shape when he passed my game piece all the way to the finish line.

"Ohhh look who's winning now!" He cheering holding his hands up in the air. I giggled and rolled my eyes.

"You're so competitive." I laughed watching him do his victory dance. He came and sat back down with me kissing my cheek.

"It's okay, maybe you will win next time." He joked wrapping his arms around my waist as I sat on his lap.

"Justin when am I gonna get out of here?" I groaned resting my head on his chest. I felt him sigh and kiss my neck.

"I don't know baby. Whenever the doctor says." He whispered rocking from side to side.

"Well I hope that's soon."

"Yeah." He agreed resting his head on top of mine. From then, we sat in a comfortable silence. I was honestly very tired. It felt like I was always tired. Probably all the medicine they put me on. My eyelids seemed to not be able to keep open, and I found myself fast asleep in Justin's arms.
