Chapter 30

-Justin-

I woke up and went downstairs. My mom was cleaning the kitchen as I sat down on the counter.

"Hey Justin." She said.

"Hi mom." I replied.

"Are you busy today?" She asked me. I shook my head.

"Nope." I said. I'm surprised she hasn't told me to get off the counter yet. "Why?"

"Because I want to spend time with my son. Is that a bad thing?" She told me.

"No. When?" I asked.

"Whenever you're ready." She answered.

"Alright. I'ma get dressed." I said hopping off the counter.

"Okay. And put a shirt on!" I heard her yell as I went up the stairs. I laughed and went into my bedroom closing the door and hoping in the shower. I got clean and stepped out and dried my body changed into my outfit

I spiked my hair and brushed my teeth. I went back downstairs and got mom. We headed outside to my car and got in. I put the keys in the ignition and drove down the street.

"So where are we going?" I asked. She shrugged.

"I don't know. Lets go to the mall and find something to do there." She suggested. I nodded and headed to the mall.

-Hailee-

I woke up on the floor next to the couch still curled up in my blanket. I rubbed my eyes and sat up as I stretched. I heard mom and dad talking in the kitchen as usual and Maddie and Noah were sitting on the couch whispering to each other.

"Well look who finally decided to wake up." Noah said when he saw me.

"Shut up you ass." I hissed.

"Shhh there are little children in here." He said covering Maddie's ears.

"Oh like she's never heard ass before" I spat. I stood up and walked away to the kitchen. What a great way to start the day. With Noah. I went and grabbed a water bottle and started drinking it.

"Mom?" I asked. She looked up from her laptop so I could continue. "How long are they gonna be here?" I asked her.

"Just until Tuesday." She replied. I groaned. Two more days. I can handle it. Right? I finished my water and put the bottle in the sink, heading upstairs. I passed through the living room, where Maddie was watching TV and Noah was on his phone.

"Where's your boyfriend today? With another girl?" He said to me. I shot him a glare.

"Yeah. His mom." I hissed. Justin sent me a text earlier saying he was going shopping with his mom. I thought that was cute.

"Aww mommas boy huh?" He smirked.

"Yeah, maybe cuz his dad lives halfway across Ontario." I spat. I continued up the stairs but when I got to the top, I turned back around to face Noah, he was looking at me. "It's okay, you can be jealous of him. Cuz he has me and you don't." I decided to step up my game. No more nice girl to Noah. I slammed by bedroom door shut went straight into my bathroom. I turned on the shower. As I waited for the water to heat up, I took my hair out of the bun and took off my clothes. I stepped in and let she hot water soak into my skin. It was calming. After I did what I needed I got out and changed into my outfit:

White long sleeves shirt that say Love
Love
Love with puma print, Jean shorts and puma print vans

And I did my hair in a ponytail and put a puma print bow

I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket skipping downstairs. Maddie was still watching TV and Noah was still on his phone. I sat down next to Maddie and she gave me a hug.

"So Maddie, I think today we should go to the zoo. How does that sound?" I asked her. Her eyes widened. I remember when I lived in Texas, she told me she never went to the zoo and she really wanted too. So I thought it would be nice. But that meant I had to invite Noah too. I turned to look at him. "Wanna come?" I asked him with no emotion.

"Why not?" He said getting up.

"Alright common Maddie. Lets so get you ready." I said standing up. I helped her up and we ran up the stairs together and into the guest bedroom where her and Noah were staying. I helped her pick out her outfit

A flower dress skirt with a white shirt and light Jean vest and white sandals


"Thanks Hailee." She said.

"You're so very welcome." I replied. What? I love little kids. I felt my phone ring in my pocket and i pulled it out. Justin texted me telling me he was home now.

"Who are you talking too?" Maddie asked. I smile at her.

"My prince." I joked from when she called him that last night.

"Ohh he should come too!!" She exclaimed. I laughed.

"You really want him too go?" I asked and she nodded fast. "Alright I'll ask him." I started to call him and he answered right away.

M: hey Juju. Wanna come to
the zoo with me and Maddie?
J: I guess. sounds fun! But
I've got two little ones I
want you to meet. Is it
cool of they come?
M: yeah! alright I'll come pick
you up on our way there.
J: alright see yeah
M: see yeah.

I hung up and turned to Maddie who had a huge smile on her face.

"So is he coming?" She asked.

"Yeah he's coming!" I replied and she clapped .

"Okay let's go!" She screamed pulling me down stairs. I looked at myself in the mirror before we left. My cuts were starting to get better. Yay! I wonder if Justin's bruises look better today too?

"Common Noah!" Maddie shouted and Noah came down the stairs.

"Alright alright. Lets go." He said. I grabbed my car keys and we went outside to my car. I opened the door for Maddie and she climbed into the back along with Noah. I pulled out of the driveway and headed towards Justin's house. I pulled up in front and opened the door so I could go get him. "What are we doing?" Noah asked.

"Picking up my boyfriend. Maddie invited him." I said shutting the door and walking up to Justin's house. I knocked on the door and Pattie opened it.

"Hailee!!" She said pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back and then we pulled away. I heard Justin come down the stairs and he came to me pulling me into a hug also.

"Hey Hails." He said giving my a kiss.

"Hey Juju." I said back when we pulled away.

"Jazzy! Jaxon! Come here! We're leaving!" Justin shouted. Then, two little kids came into the doorway. The girl was a bit older than the boy.

"Hi, I'm Jazzy. I'm six! And this is my little brother Jaxon. He's four." She said.

"Hi Jazzy. I'm Hailee." I said bending down to her level. She didn't hesitate to give me a hug. Jaxon stayed behind Justin, hiding behind his legs. I pulled away from Jazzy I smiled at her. "Jazzy, you are so pretty."

"You are too." She complimented back.

"Aww thanks." I said as I stood up. I turned to look at Jaxon.

"Hi Jaxon. I'm Hailee." I said being nice. He stepped out from behind Justin.

"Hi." He said back. I smiled and he ran into my arms and gave me a big hug. I laughed because it was unexpected.

"Hailee, these are my little brother and sister." Justin said.

"Aww they are adorable." I cooed. Justin laughed. "Alright, you ready?" I asked picking Jaxon up. Justin nodded.

"Alright. Bye mom. We will be home later." He said giving his mom a kiss on his cheek. "Common Jazzy." He grabbed Jazzy'a hand and we walked out.

"Bye Pattie." I said before we shut the door. We headed to my car and me and Justin helped Jazzy and Jaxon into the car. It was a right fit in the back but it worked. I got into the drivers seat and Justin in the passengers. Noah gave me a look when I got in. I smiled at him and then started driving away. I turned the radio on so it wasn't awkward silence the whole car ride. Except for Maddie and Jazzy, everyone was quite. I hummed song on the radio the whole way until we got there. I found a parking spot in the parking garage and turned around to see everybody.
Noah looked pissed, as always, Jaxon was just sitting there and Maddie and Jazzy were talking to each other.

"Who's ready to go?!" I asked. They all shouted and I laughed. I opened the door and got out. Then I opened the back door and they all got out. Jaxon begged Justin if he could sit on his shoulders. Justin picked him up and sat him on his shoulders. I thought it was adorable. Jazzy took my hand and Maddie walked next to me. Noah walked a few steps behind us. When we got in and paid, we asked Maddie what animal she wanted to see first.

"I want to see the giraffes!" She said happily.

"Ohh yeah!" Jazzy agreed.

"Okay well I'm not staying to hang out with you losers." Noah hissed and started to walk the other way. Me and Justin gave each other 'WTF' looks and started walking in the direction of the giraffe cages. Me and Justin walked behind Maddie and Jazzy as Jaxon was still on Justin's shoulders. He grabbed my hand and we walked along together. When we got to the giraffes there was a guy asking if we wanted to feed them. Maddie was shaking her head yes so we agreed on it. The man gave us all a cracker to feed them.

"Jaxon come feed one." I said. Justin took him off his shoulders and he came and stood next to me. I gave him a cracker and he took it from me. He held it out to one of the giraffes and it gently took it out of his hand. Jaxon laughed and looked at me.

"That tickled my hand." He laughed and I laughed with him. I looked over at Justin who was helping Jazzy and Maddie feed them their crackers.

"Wanna do another one?" I asked him and he nodded. I handed him my cracker and he held it out to a different giraffe, laughing again when it took it from his hand. I smiled.

"Jazzy you have to hold your hand like this." Justin said showing her how to do it. "And it won't bite you. Don't be scared." He told her. I smiled watching them. I picked up Jaxon and walked over to them.

"You do It first Justin." She told him. Justin laughed and held out his hand with the cracker in it. The giraffe gently took it out of his hand and ate it.

"K. Now your turn." He said to Jazzy. Maddie was busy feeding her cracker to the giraffe she wasn't paying attention to any of us. Jazzy held out her hand for the giraffe and it ate her offering. She looked at Justin wide eyed. "See that wasn't so bad." He said to her. She laughed and turned to Maddie.

"Did you see that?! He ate it from my hand!" She rambled on.

"Okay guys lets move on." I said and we walked to the next animal which was the lion. All the little ones looked so fascinated.

"Their so cute." I said to Justin. He wrapped his arm around me and laughed.

"Just like me." He joked. I hit him playfully on the arm. "I'm kidding. Their cute like you." He said and I blushed. He planted a kiss on my lips.

"Ewww." We heard one of them say. We smiled and pulled away seeing Jaxon making a face.

"Oh Jaxon. Someday that will be you." I said.

"Yeah. Only you won't find anyone better than her cuz she's the best." Justin said picking him up and spinning him around. Jaxon screamed out in laugher and joy. I smiled.

"Me next!" Jazzy shouted running up to Justin. He put Jaxon down and picked up Jazzy spinning her the same. She laughed as well.

"Me too!" Maddie said. Justin did the same and she laughed too.

"Let me guess, you too?" Justin asked towards me. I giggled.

"No." I replied but it was too late. He picked me up and spun me around too. I laughed and told him to put me down. He placed me on his feet and planted another kiss on my lips.

"K common guys. Lets go look at more Jazzys." He said referring to the monkeys.

"Hey!" Jazzy said making Justin laugh.

"Oh you know you're a monkey Jazzy." He told her picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. She laughed .

"Put me down Bieber." She laughed. Looks like she's not the one who calls him Bieber. He set her back on the ground and she ran with Maddie. Justin laughed and held my hand.

"Why are you so god with kids?" I asked him. He laughed.

"Skill." He joked back. I giggled looking at him.

"Really though. They love you. Even Maddie loves you." I told him. He smiled.

"I just like kids. Their entertaining." He said he looked at me. "Maybe one day we will have some of our own."

"Us?" I questioned even though I knew he was talking about us. It made me smile. But I'm not ready to have kids anytime soon. "Are you saying you want us to have kids?"

"Well maybe not us. But you never know. But that's still not till a few more years. We have a whole life ahead of us. We just can't get caught up in the moment ya know?" He said. Relief came over me when he said a few more years.

"Well maybe we might just make that happen years down the road. If we are still together." I told him. He smiled and looked at me, giving me a kiss. I would have never guessed Justin had a soft side. It was cute because he cares about his family so much. And that's something you don't find in a lot of guys. Sometimes I think Justin is too good to be true. He's perfect. He's nice and he's funny. And flawless. But then I never forgot, he's mine.
