Chapter 33
-Hailee-
I drove down the road listening to the radio, a song I've never heard before. I heard honking from the car behind me so I looked down at my speedometer. I was going the speed limit so I looked out my rearview mirror seeing the familiar black range rover. I laughed and rolled my eyes instantly knowing who was behind me. I slowed down so that he had a reason to be honking. I rolled down my window and heard him yelling at me to go faster. I laughed and sped up pulling into the school parking lot. I found a parking spot and Justin's car pulled up next to me. I grabbed my backpack and got out of the car, walking over to his car. He got out and pulled me into a hug.
"You drive like an old grandma." He joked. I laughed and he gave me a kiss.
"Are you pissed now?" I joked back, pulling away. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. We walked to the building and found Stephanie and Ryan drinking Starbucks.
"Without us?" Justin whined making me giggle. Stephanie smiled.
"It was Ryan. Blame him. He bought it." She said standing up to give me a hug. I sat down next to her and Justin sat down next to me, holding my hand.
"What the heck Ryan?! I thought we had a bromance!" Justin joked making me and Steph laugh. Ryan shrugged making a funny face making us all laugh. The bell rang and Justin gave me a kiss, and I headed for my locker. Stephanie decided to tag along. I put in my combo and shoved my bag into it. I grabbed my math book and a notebook, slamming my locker shut.
"Okay, lets go." I said to Stephanie. She nodded and we walked to class. We were late but managed to sneak in without the teacher seeing us. Me and Steph laughed making the teacher give us a weird look.
"How was your weekend?" I asked Stephanie trying to make conversation.
"Oh my god. It was amazing! I'll tell you about it later." She replied. "What about yours?"
"It was alright. I have to talk to you later about it too." I said, planning to tell her about Noah.
"Okay. I think Justin and Ryan are hanging out today so maybe this is our chance to catch up on things yeah?" She said. I nodded.
"My house after school?" I asked and she nodded. I turned my attention to the teacher who was writing stuff up on the board. "How do you even do this stuff? It makes no sense." I whispered to Steph. She giggled.
"I'll help you later okay?" She said.
"Thanks." I replied.
The rest of the hour went by slowly but it was finally over. I groaned not wanting to go to history. But at least Justin is in this class. Only, the teacher picked up on us being boyfriend and girlfriend so he has us sitting across the room from each other. Justin in the front left corner, and me in the back right corner. That sucks. And even worse, Karla sits next to him. he always looks so annoyed though. i wouldn't blame him tough. The girl is very annoying. At least we have a minute to talk before class. I walked in not seeing Justin yet. I found my way to the back of the room to my seat, and plopped my math book and notebook down. I sat on top of my desk, pulling out my phone acting like I was busy. I looked up when I heard the familiar squeaky voice of the one and only Karla. She was following Justin like always. He just ignored her and came straight to me. When he saw me, he smiled his million dollar smile I loved.
"Hey Babe." He said pecking my lips. I smiled though the kiss and pulled away.
I replied " Hey Juju." He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.
"How has your day been today Hails?" He asked.
"Better now that you're here." I smiled. He smiled back. "How has yours been?"
"What do you think? I've had this bitch following me around all day." He groaned pointing behind him at Karla. She was looking at us, giving us evil glares. Justin's beautiful brown eyes met mine when he looked back at me.
"So it's been horrid." I stayed. He nodded. I leaned in and gave him a kiss. Not only because I wanted to, but to make Karla jealous. "Better?" I asked.
"Better." He smiled. The door swung open and the teacher came in the room takin his place at the front of the room.
"Get to your seats students!" He commanded. Justin frowned and kissed my cheek walking over to his seat. I guess the one good thing about sitting across the room from each other is Justin's faces. He always turns around and makes a dumb face at me, making me laugh. The teacher started his lesson and I was already bored. And this is when Justin comes in. He was sitting sideways in his desk with his feet sticking way out. He looked like he was staring at the wall but who knows. He turned his head to see me and the corners of his lips turned up into a smile. I smiled back and blew him a kiss, which was pretended to be caught and put in his pocket. Then he blew me one back and I did the same as him. It's a kiss for when you need it but you cant have one, my mom used to say. I smiled at the thought. I snapped back into reality and saw Justin making faces already. I make them back. I laughed quietly, but not quite enough because the teacher turned around.
"Is something funny Hailee?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No." I muttered. I stood there. For a minute and stared at me, and then Justin before shaking his head and turning around, continuing to teach. I looked at Justin and we both started laughing. Maybe this class wasn't so bad.

School was finally over and I was walking down the hall with Hailee, Stephanie and Ryan. Me and Ryan were going to shoot some hoops and we invited Hailee and Stephanie to join, which they did surprisingly. We all got in our cars and wen down a little ways to the basketball court. Hailee and Stephanie went and sat in the grass next to the court and me and Ryan went too the hoop.
"Lets get this game going! One on one." Ryan said. I laughed.
"Are you ready to get crushed?" I joked and stole the ball, making shot one. "One-...nothing."

"I never knew these boys were so competitive." I said to Stephanie laughing as we watched them play.
"Oh trust me, you haven't seen nothing yet." She laughed. "I don't even know why Ryan plays because Justin always wins." I giggled.
"Five- two!!" Justin shouted. Ryan gave him a look and made another play but me and Stephanie weren't paying attention anymore.
"Okay so about the weekend. What happened during yours?" She asked. I told her everything about what happened with Noah. "Oh my god! You're so lucky you got out of there. Who knows what he might have done!" She said. I nodded.
"Yeah at least their leaving tomorrow." I said relieved.
"So did anything good happen this week?" She said emphasizing 'good'. I laughed.
"Yeah, I went to the zoo with Justin and Jazzy and Jaxon. And then I went to dinner with him and his parents." I said. She frowned. "What?"
"You're so lucky! I love his family! They are so cool and fun to be with!" She told me. I nodded.
"That's what I said too." I agreed. "And what about your weekend? You said it was amazing."
"Yeah but I don't know if Ryan would want me to tell you." She whispered as if Ryan could hear us. I I turned my head a little and gave her a wondering look.
"Why not? Is it bad?" I joked but she kept a straight face. She just stared at me, and then nodded after a few seconds. I dropped my jaw. "Stephanie! You got the D!" I said.
"Shhh. Not so loud!" She told me. I laughed, and a smile came across her face. There was a silence for a minute besides Justin and Ryan.
"Was it fun?" I randomly asked to break the silence. She gave me a surprised look and started laughing. I laughed along.
"I'm not going to answer that question." She replied still laughing. I looked out at Justin right as he gave me a smile and a wink, making me blush. Then I looked out past the basketball court and saw two boys. I didn't think at first but then I remembered. Oh shit. We better get out of here.
