Chapter 3

-Hailee-

I couldn't believe it. He was here. Right in front of me. It was almost impossible. My heart was racing and my knees wanted to buckle under me. How can this be? Maybe I'm dreaming. No I'm not.

"Justin." I breathed, my voice barely about a whisper. Before I comprehended what I was doing I threw my arms around him. He didn't hesitate to hug me back as tight as he could. If it weren't for him I probably would have fell to the ground. "I can't believe you're here." I whispered. It wasn't until then I noticed I was crying. Justin must have noticed because he pulled away from the big and laughed.

"What happened to no crying?" He joked and I couldn't help but laugh through the tears.

"I'm just so happy." He said and hugged him again. He walked foreword and shut the door with his foot behind him.

"I missed you so much." He whispered kissing my forehead.

"I miss you too." I replied pulling out of the embrace. I looked up at him seeing the biggest smile on his face. It was like it was contagious because shortly after it was on my face. We just stood there in the middle of the house, staring at each other. I couldn't help but crash me lips onto his. He seemed shocked at first but then kissed back with force. The moment seemed so right. To have him back just like it used to be. Justin grabbed my waist pulling me up as I wrapped my legs around his torso and his hands fell to keep me up and me moved to the couch, not breaking the kiss. He hovered over me as he laid me on my back. The kiss got heated quicker than I expected. But it was a good thing. I missed his lips on mine. The way they moved perfectly in sync. Just like they did now. I pulled at the ends of his hair making him moan just like I had the day before I left. But then a thought came to my head making me pull away.

"How did you find me?" I asked him looking into his mesmerizing mocha eyes. He chuckled putting his hand on my cheek.

"You have a very nice cousin ya know." He joked making me laugh. Lila told him where to go. He planted his lips again on mine, only this time it was slow and passionate.

"You don't know how much I missed this." I said against his lips.

"Oh but I do." He said pecking them once more and then just looked at me. We just stared at each other for a good while both taking in the moment that we were actually with each other.

"I still can't believe this." I said as he sat down next to me.

"Believe what?"

"That you're here. That we just got to kiss again. Something I never thought I would do again." I told him. He nodded in agreement. I started out the window for a minute just taking it all in.

"Hailee?" I heard Justin say and I turned to look at him.

"Yeah?"

"Does this mean we are together again?" He asked me. I smiled.

"I don't see why not."

"So we're together?" His face was full of hope. I laughed and nodded.

"Yeah."

"How long are you staying?" I asked Justin as I laid my head on his chest while I looked at the promise ring Justin had given back to me. I missed it there. And now I finally have it back.

"As long as I need." He said leaving a trail of kisses on my shoulder.

"Good." I said and he chuckled. I turned around in his arms to face him. He looked up at me pecking my lips.

"Everybody really misses you." He told me. I nodded.

"I miss them too." I said truthfully. I missed Stephanie and Ryan. I missed Chaz and Pattie. The sound of the doorbell ringing brought me out of my thoughts. I groaned looking at Justin. "I'll be back." I said getting up off the bed and opening the door to my room. I skipped downstairs and opened the door.

"I think I forgot my phone." Noah said right as I opened the door. I rolled my eyes letting him in.

"where?" I asked him referring to his phone.

"I don't know." He said with annoyance. "And who's car is outside?" He asked. I rolled my eyes before I scoffed.

"Why do you care?" I spat and he looked at me.

"Because you probably have your little fuck buddy over." He said and I gave him a glare.

"Yeah right!" I yelled.

"I would say more of a boyfriend. Not a fuck buddy." I heard from the top of the stairs. I looked up seeing Justin standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. I smiled at him when he winked at me.

"What the hell is he doing here?!" Noah shouted. I laughed.

"He's my boyfriend. Why wouldn't he be here?" I said to him. He gave me a look.

"Fuck you." He said through gritted teeth followed by a stinging sensation on my cheek. I yelped out in pain as he pushed me to the floor.

"Don't you ever touch her again!" Justin shouted. I hadn't noticed he was already down the stairs and pushing Noah.

"Noah get your damn phone and get the hell out of my life!" I shouted from the floor through the tears. He actually did as I told him and continued to search for his phone. Justin rushed over to me and scooped me up and carried me to the kitchen. He set me down on the counter and stood between my legs.

"Are you okay?" He asked tilting my head to look at the big red mRk that was forming. I nodded my head.

"I'm fine." I said. "It just hurts a little." I too him. He went around the island in the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack from the freezer. He came back and kissed my hurt cheek.

"Here." He then said handing the ice pack to me. I lifted it up to my face and set it there.

"Thank you J." I said not think but just doing. I heard him chuckle.

"J?" He asked causing me to blush. "I like it."

After a while we made our way back up to my room. "Do you even have anywhere to stay for the night?" I asked him as he placed with the ends of my hair.

"I guess I didn't really think of that." He laughed. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Well now you do. You're staying here." I replied. He smiled and I leaned over for a kiss. I pulled away when I heard a car door slam outside. "Moms home." I said. "Stay here. I'll be right back." I told him and wet downstairs meeting my mom at the front door.

"Hey Hailee. I didn't expect to see you out of your room." She said. This was probably the only time I was out of my room when she came home. I laughed following her into the kitchen.

"Well hello to you too." I joked leaning on the counter.

"Okay something's up. I haven't seen you this happy in forever." She wondered.

"Mom he's here." I told her. She gave me a confused look before she caught on to what I was telling her. She gasped.

"Where is he?" She whispered.

"In my room."

"What's going on between you two?" She asked.

"Well we are back together." I said holding up my hand and sowing her the promise ring. She smiled and hugged me.

"I'm so glad to see you happy again." She squealed like a teenage girl. "Go get him." I did as I was told and brought him into the kitchen with mom. "Justin so great to see you again!" Mom hugged him.

"Nice to see you Mrs. Ellis." Justin said politely. "And it feels great to be with your daughter again." I blushed as he grabbed my waist and planted a kiss on my lips.

"Well you two go have fun." Mom said. An idea popped into my mind. I grabbed Justin's hand and pulled him outside with me.

"Where are we going?" He laughed as I jogged down the street with him following behind me. I stopped when we came to the top of the small hill and I sat down pulling him with me.

"Wow." He berated taking in the view below us. I smiled looking at it also. Now, when I say I'm from Texas I don't mean the country. I lived in the city part of Texas. And that's what we were looking at. The buildings and the occasional honking of traffic. I rested my head on his shoulder as he took my hand in his.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" I said after a while. I felt him nod.

"But not as beautiful as you." He said as I giggled.

"Justin I don't like it here anymore. It's just not the same." I told him. He sighed. But it's not the same anymore. I miss Justin all the time and I always am alone. Noah's always trying to hit on me and Lila always with her boyfriend.

"It's not the same without you back home either." He said lacing his arm around my shoulder.

"I don't like it here anymore. I wanna go back with you."
