Chapter 56

Chapter 56

-Justin-

I woke up still in pain, but not nearly as much as last night. Hailee was already up again. I sat up yawning and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I saw Hailee and Ally watching cartoons on the couch on the other end of the room. Once Hailee noticed I was awake, she smiled and walked over to me.

"Good morning Justin. How ya feeling?" She asked sitting on the bed next to me, wrapping her arms around me.

"A lot better than last night. Just a little sore." I told her.

"Happy to hear your feeling better." She said smiling. I smiled back and pecked her on the lips.she got up and walked back to Ally as I got up and went to the mirror. I had bruises on my cheek and jaw, and a split lip. I looked at my stomach seeing small bruises. That's what hurt most. I went to my suitcase and pulled out a black t shirt and slipped it on, flopping down on the couch next to Hailee.

"So, what's today's plan?" I asked her and she shrugged.

"I don't know. My parents haven't told us what's going on today yet." She replied. I snaked my arms around her waist and buried my face in the crook of her neck. She giggled and ran her fingers through my hair.

We sat there got a while and then we heard a knock on the door. Hailee got up and answered it and her mom came in.

"Good morning guys." She said as Ally ran to her giving her a hug. She picked her up and then looked at me.

"Hey Justin. You feelin better?" She asked. I nodded.

"A bit better. But a lot better than last night." I told her. She smiled.

"Thats good. Glad to hear that." She said sounding a lot like what Hailee said when I told her that. "But anyway, what do you guys feel like doing today?"

"I don't know. What do you have in mind?" Hailee asked.

"Well I was thinking we could just relax here today and then go to the drive in when it gets dark." She replied.

"Sounds good. Justin?" Hailee looked at me giving me a 'is that good?' Look.

"That's fine." I agreed. Her mom smiled and then walked out of the room, Ally following saying 'I wanna go see daddy'. Hailee sat back down on the couch next to me. She gave me a side hug smiling at me. I smiled back at her. I was actually happy to hear that we are just gonna relax today. I'll need it. With the pain and all.

"I still don't understand why he did it." Hailee said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, it's fine now. I'm not gonna let him hurt me or you again." I said. She flashed me a smile.

"I know Justin but I just don't get it. Why did he just think he could do that in the first place. It's not right. Especially when it's the person your so obsessed withs boyfriend." She rambled on. I laughed at how mad she was at him. I was mad at him too. Saying I was just playing Hailee. If I was going that, I would have left a LONG time ago. But I really do love her. And Noah just needs to deal with the fact he's never gonna have her. She mine, and only mine.

-Hailee-

After staying in the hotel room with Justin all day, him making me laugh almost all day, it was finally dark so we were getting ready to go to the drive in. I put on some shorts and Justin ok hoodie from a while ago. I tied my hair up in a messy bun, not really caring about what I looked like. I mean, it's not like I know anybody and it's just a movie. I came out of the bathroom seeing Justin changed into this:

I smiled walking over to him and he held his arms out for me. I walked into them without any hesitation feeling his warm body against mine. His wonderful scent filled my nose.

"You look beautiful." He whispered kissing the top of my head. A blush crept on my face.

"You smell beautiful." I told him making him laugh.

"Of course you would say that." He joked and I smiled.

"Well what? You do smell good." I said slipping on my black vans as Justin put on his black Supras. "Ready?" He nodded and we walked out of the room across the hall to my parents. I knocked and mom came to the door. "We will be at the car." I told her. She nodded.

"Hey, take Ally with you she's ready." Mom said.

"Common Ally," I called her and she ran out of the room to me and Justin. We started walking down the hall, me and Justin hand in hand. He reached the elevator, which I knew Justin hated. There are some things about this boy I wouldn't expect him to like and dislike. "Justin why don't you like elevators?" He chuckled.

"I thought you knew." He said. I gave him a confused look.

"Knew what?"

"I'm claustrophobic." He replied. Oh yeah! I remember him telling me that before.

"Oh yeah, you are." I said remembering when he told me. We were at school one day just randomly talking about things.

"Yep." He said popping the 'p'. I giggled and the doors opened, leading us into the lobby. We walked out the door into the parking lot.

"Ally stay close. I don't want you to get hurt." I told her.

"I won't." She said.

"How do you know?" Justin joked and she smiled at him.

"Because I'm gonna stay close." She replied making me and Justin laugh. We got to the car waiting to get in until my parents came down. When they did we climbed into the car and drove to the drive in.


It only took us about twenty minutes to get to the drive in, and the movie was going to start soon. We picked a spot to sit and laid out blanket on the grass, as mom and dad sat in the back of the car.

"So what movie are we watching exactly?" I asked my mom.

"Monsters Inc." she replied and I nodded. It's Ally's favorite movie so that's why I'm guessing we are seeing it. I sat down on the blanket, along with Justin and Ally. We sat there for a minute until the smell of fresh popcorn hit me. I took a deep breath smiling. I have to have some.

"I'm gonna go get some popcorn. Be right back." I said to Justin pecking his lips. I stood up and walked to the concession stands where they were selling it. I waited in line, and ordered a bag when it was my turn. I paid the lady working and then started walking back, receiving a couple whistles from some teenagers. I rolled my eyes as their eyes followed me all the way back to Justin. I sat down kissing his good cheek, and then looked back at the boys who now had sad looks on there face. That's right boys, I'm taken by the best. "Want some?" I asked Justin and Ally, holding the bag of popcorn out to them. Ally nodded taking a handful and Justin took a few pieces. I set the bag down between me and him, just in time for the movie to start.

When the movie was over, we packed up and grabbed some McDonald's, eating it on the way back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel we all walked inside. We went up the elevator and to our rooms. I said goodnight to mom and dad and then shut the door to the room behind me. I helped Ally change into her favorite pajamas, and then me and Justin changed into ours.

"Good night Hailee." Ally said climbing into her bed.

"Goodnight Ally." I replied smiling.

"Goodnight Justin." Ally said again. Justin laughed before replying with the same I thing I did. I climbed into bed as did Justin. I pulled the blanket up around me as Justin snaked his arms around me. I buried my face in his bare chest closing my eyes ready to sleep. "Goodnight babe." Justin whispered. I smiled and moved so I could give him a quick kiss, only to put my head back where it was after.

"Goodnight Justin." I replied and we both fell into a comfortable sleep.
