-Justin-

"Justin." I hear, followed by a small shake of my shoulder. I groan and shift slightly. "Baby wake up." I hear Hailee's melodic voice fill the dark room. I open one eye, barely seeing Hailee hovering over me. From what I can see in the dark, she looks like she has been up for a while, no sign of just waking up on her face.

"What? Are you okay?" I say groggily, my voice hoarse from just waking. I glance behind her at the bright read numbers on the alarm clock that read 3:25 AM. I mentally groan.

"No." She said monotonously, moving her her knees, her elbows resting on the bed next to me.

"What's wrong?" I ask, becoming more aware of what's going on. I prop myself up on my elbow, rubbing my sleepy eyes and running a hand through my hair.

"I want ice-cream. And we don't have any." She whined, looking up at me from her eyelashes. I scoff followed by a small chuckle.

"I thought you were hurt or something." I laugh, watching her frown. This is her first craving out of this pregnancy. I better get used to these midnight runs.

"I am hurt. My stomach is hurt because it wants ice cream and we don't even have any." She jokes, causing me to chuckle.

"Okay, okay. I'll got get you some." I tell her, pushing the blankets off of me. I sit up, helping Hailee stand as I did. I kiss her forehead before I take a plain white t-shirt from the dresser and slip it on. I don't bother changing out of my black sweats, well, because they are comfortable and it's three in the morning. Not a lot of people are gonna be at the store. I flipped on the closet light, searching for my white Supras. I came across them and slipped them on, followed by a black beanie to cover up my bed hair. I turned off the light and re-entered the bedroom, seeing Hailee had turned the light on. "You tagging along?" I asked her. She looked up at me, smiling widely.

"You look hot in that beanie." She cooed, standing from the bed and giving me a hug. "Thank you for doing this." She mumbled into my chest before kissing my cheek. "I love you."

"I love you too." I repeated those words I never get tired of hearing or saying. "Now let's go or your body will be mad at me." I joked, causing for her sweet giggle to be heard. Oh how I love that giggle. When we got downstairs, I grabbed my keys from the counter and then went out to my car, getting Hailee in and then going around to my side and got in.

The roads were mostly empty, only one or two cars passing us on the way up to the store. As I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that there were only two or three other people here. I guess I can make this quick. "You coming in or staying here?" I asked her when I parked the car. She got out of the car, answering my question without even speaking. I quickly got out of the car also, jogging to her side. She instantly had her hand intertwined in mine and her head resting on my shoulder. I looked down at her, seeing she looked tired. "How long have you been up?" I asked curiously. She pursed her lips, having to think about it.

"I couldn't sleep so maybe an hour or two." She responded. I nodded as we went through the automatic sliding doors. We headed to the isle that held the ice-cream and I watched Hailee as her eyes lit up. I chuckled quietly and wrapped my arm around her waist.

"What kind do you want, baby?" I asked, looking at the hundreds of flavors they had. Why so many? She pursed her lips again, tapping her fingers on my torso, which was now wrapped around me like mine was around her.

"I want chocolate and cookie dough and vanilla and strawberry and a-"

"Two Hails, you can pick two flavors." I laughed, keeping her from going on. She frowned playfully before taking out a bin of cookie dough flavor and chocolate flavor ice-cream. "Okay, you want anything else while we are here?"

"Nope." She popped the 'p'. I nodded and we headed to the checkout. The lady working looked in her late thirties, her hair tied up in a ponytail and she looked exhausted. She smiled nicely at us when we set out ice-cream down on the checkout table.

"Ah, the lovely midnight runs for the cravings." She greeted, knowing right ways what was going on. "I don't miss those."

"How long do they last?" Hailee giggled, making conversation.

"Eh, it's different for everybody. Mine lasted a month or two." The lady told her. She nodded as the ice-cream was put into bags and handed back to us. "That will be seven dollars and twenty cents." She told us. I handed her a ten.

"You keep the change." I said taking the bag and then leaving. We walked back to the car and started driving back home.

"I can't wait to get home so I can eat all of this." Hailee said, holding the ice-cream cartons against her like she would loose it if she let it go. I chuckled and shook my head. At least she's not a moody one with this pregnancy. Well, not yet anyways.

The second we stepped in the house Hailee was off into the kitchen to eat her ice-cream. I rolled my eyes playfully, taking off my shoes, beanie, and shirt. Grabbing a blanket, I plopped down onto the couch, ready to get some more sleep. Eventually, I drifted off into sleep.

When I woke, I knew it was past noon because it was really bright on the living room. I shifted and stretched out my arms, letting out a small yawn. "Good afternoon sleeping beauty." I heard Hailee speak. I opened my eyes and found her sitting by me on the couch. I smiled at her, sitting up. I glanced at the TV seeing she was watching SpongeBob. Her and her kid shows. She had a bowl of what I was assuming was her ice-cream. I leaned over to look, seeing I was right.

"Hails are those pickles?" I asked, seeing the green round circles sticking out from the ice-cream.

"Yes. You want some?" She giggled, holding out a spoonful of it to me. I scrunched my face and shook my head.

"Pickles and ice-cream? Eww." I fake gagged, causing for her to laugh.

"Hey, it might get worse. This is just the beginning of these cravings." She said lazily. "I'm gonna be eating some weird things." I made a face which caused her to laugh before getting up. I went into the kitchen, going through the cupboards to find something to eat. I picked out some cereal, Fruit Loops, pouring them and some milk into a bowl. I grabbed a spoon and then headed back to the living room. Hailee was just finishing up her food when I sat down, eating mine. She set her empty bowl on the small table, resting her head on my shoulder.

"You must be tired." I spoke, putting another spoonful of cereal in my mouth. She nodded. She barely slept last night. We sat there, watching SpongeBob while I finished my cereal. When I had, I placed my empty bowl next to Hailee's. I sat back wrapping my arm around her waist.

Her stomach had been getting bigger and I couldn't imagine how it must feel. I should be glad I don't have to carry the baby around in my stomach for nine months before birth. It must be hard to be a girl. I looked back at her, her gaze fixed on the TV. I took in everything about her. Her bright blue eyes and her cute bottom nose. "Stop staring, it's making me uncomfortable." She giggled. I quickly look away. She giggled again and placed a sweet, short kiss on my cheek. Sadly, I bet they turn a light shade of pink. I turn to face her again, wanting a real kiss. I pucker my lips which she laughed at before giving me the peck I wanted. After, I place my hand over her round stomach, moving my thumb in small circles. She seems to enjoy it, since she smiles and cuddles closer to me.

"I hope it's a girl." I whisper, getting into thought about it. Hailee smiles.

"You seem like the boy type. Why a girl?" She asks, putting her hand over mine on her stomach.

"I don't know. I'm just feeling a girl." I say, not really know why I do want a girl so much. Growing up I always wanted a for my boy first child. But maybe having Hailee around it changed my opinion. And I wanted a girl.

I noticed Hailee about to say something until the a knock on the door cut her short. She furrowed her eyebrows together before she got up. I pulled her back down. "I got it. You sit." I told her. She nodded, even though she thought otherwise. I walked to the door, not in a big hurry. Opening it, I saw the people I least expected.

Lila and her boyfriend. The unexpected visit from the cousins.
