Sequel~ Chapter Forty

-Hailee-

I let out a yawn as I woke up, instantly feeling Justin's even breaths on my bare shoulder. I smiled to myself slightly, allowing my eyes to flutter open. I squinted a little as they were sensitive to the bright light seeping through the curtains. I grabbed my phone with difficulty, due to the fact that Justin's strong tattooed arms were wrapped around me. I hit the home bottom seeing it was much later than I thought. It was already noon and my appointment was at two o'clock. Knowing Justin only takes like half an hour to get ready, I crawled out of bed and let him sleep some more. I glanced down at the bed seeing him still fast asleep. He looked adorable with his messy hair and his lips parted slightly. He had the blankets pulled up to about torso length, showing off his chest. I smiled and turned away. I picked out an outfit, which was a pair of jean shorts and a loose, black t-shirt. Going into the bathroom, I took a relaxing shower and then stepped out. I dried myself and put on my clothes, drying my hair and leaving it in loose waves. I did little makeup, brushed my teeth and then returned to the bedroom, where Justin laid unmoved and had no intention of waking up.

Sadly, I had to. "Justin baby, you gotta get up." I whispered leaning down to get closer to him. I pecked his cheek which caused for him to turn his head. He licked his lips and held his arms out in front of him to stretch them. "We have to go soon." I said softly, running my hand through his hair.

"What time is it?" He asked in his raspy morning voice that I loved oh so much.

"About one." I replied, playing with the ends of his hair.

"Are you lying to me?" He mumbled, laying flat on his back.

I giggled. "No baby, I'm not lying to you." His eyes finally fluttered open and he smiled when his eyes met mine. "Good afternoon sunshine." I joked and he chuckled quietly.

"Hi beautiful." He murmured as I pecked the corner of his lips. I stood up as he sat up, the blankets falling down his chest. "We have to leave soon so get ready." I told him and walked out of the room. I heard him climb out of bed as I went downstairs, finding myself and apple to eat. I took a bite of it and sat down on the couch, greeted by Penny.

"Hey, baby girl." I said as I took another bite of my apple. I patted her head for a while, watching whatever lame TV show was on this time.

When Justin came downstairs, he came straight to me. He had on black jeans and a gray hoodie, his hair up in its usual quiff. He sat next to me as he put on his white Supras. He finished that and took my apple from my hands, taking a big bite out of it.

I hit his arm. "Hey, get your own breakfast." I said playfully angry at him. He chuckled and smirked a cheesy smirk, flashing his perfectly white teeth in the process.

I giggled and him. "You're such a dork."

"Oh yeah, yeah, you know you love me." He said, playfully nudging me. I smiled and pecked his lips as he turned to me.

"You're right, I do love you." I agreed which caused for him to smile. I slipped on my sandals and grabbed my phone from the kitchen counter, where I had placed it when I came down. "You ready?"

"Yep." Justin popped the 'p' and clapped his hands together. "Leggo!"

We headed out to the car, and I room my time, nervousness getting to me. I don't know why I'm nervous though. It's just a doctors appointment. Everything's will be just fine. Justin- being the gentleman he is- opened the car door for me. I thanked him and pecked his lips, getting in the car. Justin went around to get in and started the car before we drove towards the doctors office.

Only a few minutes away, I tapped foot non stop until Justin placed his hand on my knee, stopping me. "Don't be nervous baby. I'll be right next to you the whole time." He comforted. I smiled over at him.

"Thanks J." I said, and leaned over, kissing his soft cheek. He smiled and grabbed my hand, squeezing it for reassurance. Using my other hand, I ran it through my hair as we pulled into the clinic. I glanced at the clock on the dashboard seeing we had five minutes until the doctors would call us back. Justin parked and we got out, him rushing back to me to hold my hand again. He opened the clinic door and let me go in first, followed by him. I walked up to the front desk and greeted the older lady who was working.

"Hello darling. Are you here for your checkup?" She asked and I nodded my head. "Mrs. Hailee Bieber, is that correct?"

"That's me." I said proudly, seeing Justin smile out of the corner of my eye.

"Okay, just take a seat over there and I'll let the doctor know your here." She told is politely. I thanked her and Justin and I sat in the waiting area. A few other couples sat in here, some reading magazines or some socializing with others. I leaned my head on Justin's shoulder as he played with out hands in his lap.

Just then, a doctor with short brown hair came out. She looked in her mid thirties, and looked very friendly. "Mr. and Mrs. Bieber?" She spoke looking down at her clipboard. We both stood to our feet and walked to her. She smiled at us. "Hi, I'm doctor Lynx. I will be helping with you two today." She shook both of our hands.

"I'm Justin, and this is Hailee." Justin introduced us.

"Nice to meet you. If you would just come with me and we will get you set up for the ultrasound." She said and we followed her to a small, yet comfortable room. There was a monitor and a table, with a few chairs around. "Take a seat here." Doctor Lynx said, referring to the table you usually see in doctors offices. I sat down on it as she told me to, and Justin sat in the chair closest to me. He gripped my hand again and intertwined our fingers. He lifted our hands to his mouth, pecking mine softly. I smile at him as the doctor got situated.

"So today is mostly just going to see if the baby is developing the right way and to make sure that your body is taking this pregnancy the right way." She explained to us, and I could tell that now Justin was more nervous than I was. I giggled at him. "I'm gonna ask you to lift your shirt." She told me and I nodded, pulling my shirt above my round stomach.

"You ready?" Justin asked me and I nodded with excitement. Justin chuckled and I pecked his lips quickly.

"This might be cold." Doctor Lynx said, putting the truly cold gel on my stomach. I gasped from the sudden chill it send through my body, which caused both Justin and Dr. Lynx to laugh. Then she put the wand thing that was hooked up to the monitor on my stomach, spreading the gel around.

When the picture showed up on the screen, I smiled. "There's the head and there's the feet." She pointed out what was visible. I couldn't wipe my smile off my face the whole time.

"Justin.." I breathed looking at him, seeing one of the biggest grins on my face.

"I'll be back with pictures. You two can enjoy yourselves." The doctor said and left the room. I looked back at Justin.

"Can you believe this?" I mumbled, my eyes watery.

"That's our baby." He whispered, asp getting teary eyed.

"I love you." I told him, putting my hands on the back of his neck and pulling him closer.

"I love you too." He said back, just before I let my lips linger on his for a few seconds.

When the doctor came back she handed me the pictures of the ultrasound and wiped the gel off my stomach. We thanked her and scheduled out next appointment. Me and Justin walked back to the car and he smiled at me.

"I can't wait till we have you little baby in out arms to hold." I squealed. Justin chuckled at my excitement and started driving.

"Me either baby, me either."

I couldn't be more happy with my life at this moment."
