Chapter 9

-Justin-

Me and Hailee were driving home and I ha a killer headache. We were silent but it wasn't an awkward silence. All I could think about was the kiss she gave me to shut me up. That's what I thought was cute. How she did that just to stop the fighting. Most girls would just scream but she was different, and I liked it.

"Hey Justin, thank you for saying all those fine things about me earlier. Even if you didn't mean them." She said breaking the silence.

"Hailee, I meant every word I said. So yeah I know, I'm a player but when you came that kind of changed." I explained. She smiled.

"Justin, I think I could say the same. I mean I really like you too." She said not taking her eyes of the road. I smiled knowing she felt the same way.

"Well, that's good." I said.

"Yeah. But uh, I don't really know what to say." She muttered.

"Okay well, lets just change the subject." I said.

"Okay ummm, how about.... Ah I got nothing." She said making me laugh.

"Yeah, uh how about... We just aske questions because I have no clue." I said.

"Alright, then, do you have siblings?" She asked.

"Yeah I got two little ones. Jazzy and Jaxon. What about you?" I replied

"Nope. I'm an only child." She answered.

"Okay, if you could be any animal, what would you be?" I asked.

"Uh, I would have to say a giraffe because I'm not very tall and I think it would be cool to be taller than everyone else." She answered. "What about you?"

"I would say a tiger because I'm freaking amazing!" I said making her laugh. Just then we pulled up in front of her house. I opened the door and stepped out. I helped her take her bags inside. She opened then door and we set the bags down in the door way. We noticed the house was clean and everyone was gone.

"We're home!" Hailee shouted.

"In here!" We heard Stephanie yell from the kitchen. We headed to the kitchen and saw Stephanie.

"Oh my god Steph! You didn't have to!" Hailee said giving her a big hug. Girls. I walked to the couch where Ryan and Chaz sat.

"Sup my amigos!" I said and sat next to them.

"Chillin." They both said.

"So, who did you get with last night?" Chaz asked me.

"Nobody." I replied.

"Man, what girl would get with you? And what girl would you get with?" He said.

"I don't know man, I just wasn't in the mood." I replied.

"Yeah, cuz your saving it for Hailee." Ryan butted in laughing with Chaz.

"Shut up you douche." I said the owning a pillow at him.

"So it's true!" Chaz yelled. I rolled my eyes.

"I knew it!" Ryan said. And him and Chaz started laughing again.

"Woah dude, what happened to you?" Ryan asked once they stopped laughing.

"Derek, that's what happened." I spat.

"Oh.." He replied.

"Hey guys have you seen my phone anywhere?" Stephanie said looking around the room.

"Did you look in the backyard. That where I saw it last." Ryan replied. She gave him a kiss and then she ran to the backyard. Hailee came into the room and sat on the couch next to me.

"So, whatcha talking bout?" She asked.

"Ha, Justin got beat up!" Chaz said.

"No I didn't, it's a long story! It came very unexpectedly." I said annoyed and then looked at Hailee and gave her a wink causing her to blush.

"So, what do you guys want to do today?" She asked.

"Wanna go swimming?" Chaz said.

"That would be nice!" Ryan said.

"I found it!" Stephanie said and squeezed in between Ryan and Chaz.
"So whatcha talking bout?" She said just as Hailee did a few minutes ago.

"We were talking about going swimming. Wanna go?" I replied.

"Uh, yeah!" She said.

"Alright! Leggo!"
