Chapter 64


We ate dinner and had a really good time. We opened presents ad then all watched a movie together. Everyone was so happy for me when I told them about getting accepted into college. We ended up falling asleep on the couch at the house. But I know that was one of the best Christmases ever.


*Skipping ahead some*


A few days after New Years it was my first day of college. But it was also the day Justin was leaving to go on a family vacation. He didn't want to go without me and I wanted to go but I had to stay for school. I woke up seeing he already left. I frowned sad he didn't wake me up to say goodbye. I grabbed my phone seeing he texted me.

Hey baby, sorry I didn't wake you. I just didn't want to have to say goodbye. But have a great first day if school. I wish I could be there. I'll miss you but see you next week :) I love you so so so so so so so much.

I smiled quickly getting to my camera roll seeing Justin created a separate folder titled 'just for you'. I smiled opening it up and seeing a video pop up of Justin. I played it seeing his bright smile appear. He started to talk.

"So, I see you got my message. And I'm sorry I didn't wake you, I just didn't want to have to say bye. I'll be back next week though. But damn, that's a long time. I don't know how I'm gonna survive. But we will. And today is your first day of college. Sorry I couldn't be there. But this trip is kinda important to my mom so.. Yeah. Anyway, college. Have fun. No talking to other boys." He said with a laugh. I giggled at him seeing his smile and hearing him chuckle. I miss him already. "You don't know how bad I want to hear that giggle. Because knowing you, I know you just did. I miss you already and you're still right here." He pointed the camera to me as I was sleeping. I couldn't help but laugh again. "Okay, well you probably have to go get ready, so I love you so so so so so much. I'll see you next week. I'll call you later." The video ended and I put my phone down. I went to the bathroom and showered. I got out drying my body and throwing on this outfit:

I looked at the clock seeing it was 7:00am. My first class started at 8:00. I smirked. Just enough time to go to Starbucks. I grabbed my car keys and drove away. Once I got to Starbucks I stumbled out of my car.

"Damn high heels." I murmured trying to adjust to then. It's a good thing I'm short. Shorter fall to the ground right? I walked in and order my usual iced coffee. I thanked the man and then went back to my car. I set my drink down in the cup holder and pulled out of the parking lot making my way to the college. I took my time since I would still be a little early. I pulled into an empty parking spot when I got there and gathered my books and bag. Then I grabbed my sunglasses and drink stepping out of my car. I shut the door behind me and locked it walking inside the enormous building. I found the front office where they gave me my schedule. My first class was Physics. Great. That's one subject I've failed many times. I walked around for a while looking for my class and finally found it. I walked in and the teacher greeted me.

"Hello, you must be Hailee Ellis. The new student. Welcome. I'm Mrs. Rupa." She said happily. I smiled at her.

"Hi, I'm Hailee." I said back even though she obviously knew who I was already.

"You can take a seat next to Luke." She said. "Luke wave at Hailee, she's gonna be sitting next to you." I saw a kid in the back with short blonde hair wave at me. I smiled And made my way back to him.

"Hi Luke." I said sitting down next to him. "I'm Hailee."

"Hello Hailee, or may I say beautiful?" He said. Great. He's a flirt. I laughed shaking my head.

"Sorry Luke, but I'm taken." I said proudly. He gave look muttering 'dammit' under his breath. You'd think in college the boys would get over the whole, flirting with random girls thing. But they don't. From what I've seen so far, it's not much different from high school. I pulled out my phone waiting for class to start and sent Justin a picture of me. I wrote 'just because' and sent it to him. It didn't take him long to reply.

I smiled and wrote 'you're welcome baby' putting my phone down on the table next to my books.

"You texting your boyfriend?" Luke asked and I nodded. "Who is he?"

"Justin." I replied. "Justin who?" Who does this kid think he is?
"Justin Bieber." I said looking at him.

"You're dating Justin Bieber?!" He asked shocked. I nodded giving him a confused look. "How did you get him. Every single girl in this town always talks about him. How hot he is and stuff. And you're that one special girl."

"Is that supposed to be a bad thing?" I laughed and he shook his head.

"No, you should consider yourself lucky. I mean, Dating Bieber is a big deal. Just, I wouldn't let the girls here know that." He told me.

"And why is that?"

"Dude, if they know you're dating Justin they will freak out. Some will hate your guts. Others will want to be your best friend to get closer to him." He explained. I nodded in understand meant.

"Yeah well, we have been dating for a loonngg time now, so they aren't taking him away from me." I stated smirking.

"Yeah, Bieber's a lucky man." He said and then the bell rang.

We finally landed in California since that's where mom wanted to go. We grabbed out bags exiting the airport. I stood besides mom while she rented a car to get. We got our car making our way to it but there was a huge crowd of people we had to get through and nobody was moving.

"Excuse me." Mom would say and nobody was listening. I could tell she was getting mad and so was I. "MOVE!!" I shouted and everybody looked at me, slowly backing up to let us through. "Thank you Justin."

"You're welcome momma." I said back making her laugh. We put out bags in the back of the car and then we drove away to the hotel. I turned on the radio hearing The Way by Ariana Grande. "I love the way you make me feel, I love it, I love it!" I sang loudly as mom laughed.

"So Justin likes girl music now?" Mom joked and I laughed.

"Nah, I only know this one because Hailee listens to it all the time." I said truthfully. She listens to this song like five times a day. I heard mom giggle again as we made our way around town, looking for our hotel.

"Okay Luke, I get it. Justin's lucky to have me." I said for the tenth time. "And how the hell did you find my number?" I wondered since he called me.

"Facebook." He replied and I rolled my eyes sighing. "Okay well I have to go Luke. I'll see you later." I hung up without saying another word laying back down in bed. I grabbed at my lock screen first seeing Justin then seeing it was midnight. Why is this kid calling me at midnight? I set my phone down on the nightstand cuddling up in the spot Justin usually is, and fell asleep.



A few hours later I heard my phone ringing. I slowly reached out to grab it and saw I was getting a call from Justin. I quickly hit answer.

H: hey babe
J: hey Hails, did I wake you?
H: yeah but your fine
J: sorry. This time difference thing isn't gonna work well.
H: no but I would only wake up at two in the morning to hear your voice
J: I miss you already
H: me too. And it's only been a few hours.
J: yeah so how was school?
H: good. Except for this one kid who is kinda obsessed with me
J: don't worry, when I get home if he does anything stupid in gonna beat his ass
H: Justin, I already told him about you. He keeps telling me how lucky you are to have me
J: well I am lucky
H: I'm lucky too. But anyway, how is California?
J: hot. But I guess it's fun. It would be better with you here.
H: I think it's good that you went with just Your mom.
J: yeah I guess
H: but hey, we get to see each other again next week.
J: good. But I guess I better let you sleep if you have to get up early to go to school.
H: Justin I have school every other day. I don't have school tomorrow.
J: oh yeah. So you wouldn't get mad if stayed up and talked.
H: I wouldn't mind. I probably won't be able to sleep anyway, cuz this bed is just cold and big without you
J: haha okay. I just like hearing your voice.


We ended up talking for quite a while. I was sad when we hung up. But at least we will talk tomorrow. I set my phone back on the nightstand, plugging it into the charger, and laid down on the bed. I pulled Justin's pillow close to me, taking in the amazing scent of it, like him. I thought about school for a while then my thoughts drifted back to Justin. The only thought I remember when I fell asleep.


When I woke up I noticed it was one in the afternoon. It didn't surprise me since I was up all night on the phone with Justin. I yawned as I sat up rubbing the sleepy out of my eyes. I stood up going to the bathroom and put my hair up into a messy bun. I didn't bother to put on makeup since I didn't have anybody to impress. I grabbed the blanket off the bed and wrapped it around my body lazily walking to the couch. I heard Stephanie and Ryan in the kitchen probably cooking lunch. I plopped down on the couch just as Stephanie came and sat down.

"Well, sleeping beauty finally decide to wake up." She joked and I laughed.

"Hey, I was up all night on the phone. I went to bed at like four in the morning." I told her and she laughed.

"How's Justin?" She asked turning on the TV.

"He's good." I said looking at what channel she picked. She started watching Bridesmaids.

"Good. How was school?" She asked in an excited tone. I smiled.

"It was actually pretty good. There's this one kid though. He keeps talking about how lucky Justin is. But other than that, it's good." I explained.

"There's always that one kid." She said making me laugh in agreement. "Well we could hang out today. Ryan is going somewhere with Chaz so looks like were loners today."

"Okay. It's been a whole since it was just us two." I said and she nodded.

"We should go to the movies. I haven't been to the movies in so long." Stephanie told me. I nodded agreeing with her. I thought today could just be a relax full day and the movies is a good place to go. "Okay I'm gonna go get ready!" She cheered getting up and prancing to the shower. I laughed hearing Ryan enter the room.

"Why is she so happy?" He said smiling.

"Were going to the movies." I told him as he sat down where Stephanie just was.

"That girl and her movies. She loves them." He said and I nodded in agreement. Just then I heard the doorbell ring. I jumped up going to answer the door. I swung it open seeing Chaz.

"Hey Chaz." I said letting him in. "Hey Hailee." He replied giving me a hug. "Where's Justin?"

"He's in California with him momma." I said.

"Oh. That's where all the hookers and strippers live. I bet they are just all over him." Chaz said and I laughed.

"I'm sure they are Chaz. But Justin better know not to do anything." I told him. I know justin better than that. He wouldn't do anything with any of them. Especially since Pattie is with him.
