Chapter 70
-Hailee-
I woke up to a warm bed for once. I smiled snuggling closer to Justin before I got out of his grip to get ready for class. I hopped in the shower and washed my body and hair before I got out, the coolness of the room hitting on my bare skin. I shivered wrapping a warm towel around me. I opened the bathroom door seeing Justin still fast asleep as I grabbed an outfit for today. I threw on a white t shirt and gray skinny jeans along with a necklace I dried my hair and straightened it seeing my ombré color was fading. I think it's time to go out with Stephanie on a shopping spree again. I put on my makeup looking at my reflection. That's when I decided to wake Justin up. I sat down on the edge of the bed taking in his features. He was bruised and cut, yet he was still so flawless. "Justin, you gotta get up." I nudged him slightly. He groaned and put his face in the pillow. He always does that. After a minute he looked back at me and smiled.
"Good morning Justin." I whispered kissing his cheek.
"Good morning Hails." He said groggily. Damn I love his morning voice. "You look beautiful. As always." He complimented climbing out of bed. I blushed and looked down at my feet. Justin chuckled going to the closet and picked out an outfit. "I'm gonna shower. I'll be right out." I nodded and went to the kitchen as he showered. I looked through the cupboards looking for something to eat but wasn't successful.
"Looks like it's time to go grocery shopping." I said to myself looking through the last cupboard finding a box of Lucky Charms. I smiled pouring myself a bowl and added some milk. I took it with me and sat down at the table. Looking through a magazine Stephanie probably left out, I ate my cereal. A few minutes I had been siting there when Justin came out in this:
dressed in a red bandana, oversized glasses, zippered pants, a grey and black jean vest and white Supra's
I smiled at him. "I like the bandana." I said pointing at it. He smiled taking my spoon and took a huge bite of my cereal.
"Me too." He said jokingly with his mouthful. I laughed and rolled my eyes pushing the bowl to him when he sat down. "You have the rest." I told him and he started eating it without any hesitation. I giggled and went to put on my black boots. When I came back Justin was placing the bowl in the sink. Boys eat so fast. I don't get it.
"Ready to go sweet thang." He playfully said which made me laugh. I nodded.
"Yeah I'm ready." I told him and he grabbed his keys off the hook. We were just about to go out the front door when Justin stopped.
"Wait!" He shouted ran down the hall returning seconds later. "I needed to grab my phone. I might need it." He said as we headed outside. I climbed into the familiar black range rover for the first time in a while. I heard the engine roar to life as I buckled my seatbelt and then Justin was driving down the street.
Since Justin was going faster than he probably should, like always, we got there within fifteen minutes. I got out at the same time Justin did as we met each other at the back of the car by the trunk. "What are you gonna do without me?" I asked him wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Be bored out of my mind." He replied wrapping his arms around my waist. I giggled.
"Don't worry, I get out at two. That's only five hours." I said and his jaw dropped.
"Five hours! What am I gonna do for five hours!" He pouted which made me laugh.
"Hey you'll get though it. And get used to it. It's gonna be like this every other day for while." I told him. Instead of waiting for him to reply I sealed his lips with a kiss for a few seconds and then pulled away. I looked at him seeing his face black and blue in some spots.
"is that why you wore the bandana?" I asked unwrapping one of my arms from his neck and placed my hand very gently on his bruised cheek.
"Yeah. Somewhat. It makes it look a little better. Covers some of it up." He rambled on. I frowned at him which made him chuckle.
"So many people are probably looking at you think what the hell happened to you." I smiled.
"Just tell them I saw a boy checking you out. And that he looks ten times worse." He joked making me laugh and I put my arm back around his neck, playing with my ring behind it. Justin just sat there staring at me. "You're so beautiful." He whispered making my blush and I covered my face by burying it in his chest. From where I was, I could see his arm and all his tattoos.
"Did I ever tell you that your tattoos are very attractive?" I pointed out looking back up at him. He chuckled and shook his head.
"No, I think that's a new one." He replied and I smiled.
"Well they are. I like them." I told him. Just then a car parked next to Justin's and Luke climbed out. I mentally groaned. I felt Justin's arm go tighter around my waist.
"Hello Hailee, Justin." He said.
"Hey Luke." I said as he grabbed his bag out of the back of his car.
"Aren't you two just so romantic." He said sarcastically. I could tell he was jealous. "See ya in class Hailee." He said walking off. I looked at Justin who had a look on his face almost as if he was mentally telling Luke to stay away from me. I laughed making him snap his head to look at me and he smiled.
"What's so funny?" He asked. I shook my head. "You. That's what's funny." I said. "You're just so protective."
"That's cuz you're mine. And only mine." He told me making me giggle.
"What about my dad? I'm his too." I joked and he shook his head.
"Nope. You're only mine." He said playfully. Damn I don't want to leave. He's in a good mood right now.
"Okay I'm only yours. But I had to get to class." I told him and he frowned.
"Okay, I'll be back at three." He promised. I nodded and gave him another kiss.
"Bye I love you." I told him as I started walking to the front of the building. "I love you too."
"I LOVE YOU!!" He shouted when I got to the doors on the other side of the parking lot. I blushed and blew him a kiss which he pretended to catch. I rolled my eyes waking at him and going inside. I headed down the hall to my first class taking my seat next to Luke.
"Dude what happened to your boyfriend? He looks terrible." Luke asked. Of course. Well good morning to you too.
"It's a long story. I'll tell you later. At lunch break?" I told him. He nodded. "Let's just say he hasn't had the greatest week."
"Obviously." I heard him mutter and I rolled my eyes. The bell rang and the teacher came in starting class instantly starting writing notes down on the board. I grabbed my notebook out of my bag and started jotting down the notes. By the time I finished my hand was cramping.
"Okay class, you must write a two page essay on how you must take care of the earth and your environment. You will be working on this the rest of the class." The instructor explained. I groaned knowing I had to still write more. At least this was an easier assignment. Usually it's five pages on one topic. I turned to a clean page in my notebook when I felt my phone vibrate in my jean pockets. I pulled it out so the teacher couldn't see it seeing Justin texted me. Pattie had got him a new phone since his last one got broken and left at the building. I opened the message.
From: Swag123swag
To: Me
I'm bored already and it's only been forty five minutes!
I smiled rolling my eyes. What would this kid do without me. I answered him with 'Poor baby. At least it's eleven. Three more hours. Watch a movie. It will pass the time'
I stuffed my phone back in my pocket waiting for a reply while titling my paper "Take Care of the Earth". After I did that, Justin replied.
From: Swag123swag
To: Me
But if I watch a movie I won't have Nobody to cuddle with :(
I couldn't help but smile when I got another message from him.
I'll just cuddle with your pillow. It smells like you ;) I like.
I rolled my eyes and sent him 'Okay weirdo :) remember, come pick me up at two'. He replied almost instantly with a simple 'I won't.'
Smiling, I put my phone away and looked at my paper. Now, just how and I going to start this paper....

-Justin-
I snuggled up closer to Hailee's pillow while watching After Earth. Call me weird, I don't care. I glanced at the clock seeing it was 12:30. An hour and a half. I can handle it. To be honest, my face hurt like hell and my stomach was really sore. The doctor said that would be normal though. I turned off the movie and instead played NBA2K with Ryan and Stephanie instead. Like always, I beat them. I still don't get how Hailee beat me that one time. That was rigged. Something was wrong. Oh well, we got to go to dinner and I still got my shoes and hats for Christmas from her anyway. So it all worked out.
"You don't even give us a chance Justin!" Stephanie whined making me laugh.
"I'm just to good for ya'll." I joked making her punch my arm playfully.
"Whatever." She got up and went to the kitchen leaving me and Ryan in the middle of our game.
"So when do you have to get Hailee?" He asked not talking his eyes off the screen.
"Two." I replied as I made a hoop. "BOOM!" I shouted as 'winner' appeared on the screen. Ryan gave me a look like he always does when he losses. I pulled out my phone seeing it was now one. 1:15. Half an hour and I'll leave. Finally. Ryan stood up going to the kitchen to find Steph and I decided to tag along and grab a snack. I searched through the fridge finding a box of food that had Hailee's name on it. I opened it seeing some leftover french fries from who knows where. I put them on a plate and heated them up stuffing them in my mouth one at a time.
"She's gonna be mad at you for eating those. They are her favorite." Stephanie sang and I shrugged.
"I'm still eatin them. I'll just take her for more." I said finishing them off. She gave me a 'you're in trouble' look. I chuckled putting my plate in the sink, taking my medication, and glanced at the clock. "I gotta go pick Hails up. Sea ya!" I grabbed my keys from the counter and headed to my car driving to the collage. I hummed in my head along the way parking in the same spot as earlier. I climbed out of the car and waited, leaning on the hood. I pulled my phone from pocket seeing it was exactly two o'clock. She should be out any minute. All of the sudden, people poured from the building. When Hailee came out, she wasn't easy to miss. Her eyes instantly caught mine and she smiled widely. She hurried over to me and ran into my arms.
"Hey Justin!" She said enthusiastically. I smiled and tightly squeezed her.
"Hello my beautiful Hailee." I said to her making her giggle slightly. "I missed you today."
"I missed you too." She looked up giving me a sweet passionate kiss. I couldn't help but deepen it a little bit but she pulled away. "We can't be doing this right here." She said making me pout. She laughed. "Common, we can do this at home." She opened the door and I went around climbing in and starting the car.
"How are you feeling?" She asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Just sore. That's it." I told her holding my stomach and then my cheek but not takin my eyes off the road.
"That's good I guess. You could be worse." She replied looking at me. She grabbed my free hand and intertwined our fingers.
"We need to stop at that one place you always get your favorite french fries." I changed the subject. She have me a look.
"I have some at home."
"No you don't. I ate them." I told her and her jaw dropped.
"Justin!!" She shouted holding back a smile and laugh. I laughed causing her to making her playfully punch my arm.
"I'm sorry, I was hungry." I said and she just smiled.
"You're fine. Let's go get some more." She said. I nodded and we headed to the place.
