Chapter 41

-Hailee-

Justin opened the front door, letting me step in before me. I thanked him and walked past as he shut the door behind me. "Mom!!" Justin called out, waiting for Pattie's response. We had stopped by Patties house to show her the pictures of the ultrasound. Ever since we left Justin has been talking non stop about the baby. He wants it to be a girl, where as I want a boy.

"Hey loves!" Patties voice rang through the living room. She greeted us and hugged us both. "Look at you!" She exclaimed, looking down at my belly.

"I don't know pregnant people do this. I'm done with it already," I joked, but at the same time not. I was serious, I wasn't wen that big yet but this stomach seems to get in my way and cause my body to ache. I heard both Pattie and Justin laugh, making me smile.

"Oh trust me honey, it doesn't get any better until you actually give birth." She patted my shoulder as we popped down on the couch. I placed my legs on Justin's lap and he took my shoes off, staring to give my feet a massage.

"Justin you don't have to-"

He cut me off. "Shush. I want to. I read that pregnant women get cranky when their feet hurt. And I don't want you cranky." He said causing me to giggle.

"Okay babe." I didn't protest because once I felt the relaxing feeling of my feet, I was instantly happy. "So, you read about being pregnant?" I teased. He chuckled.

"I just want my princess to be happy." He muttered, his cheeks turning red with embarrassment.

I laughed. "Oh aren't you the best." I leaned over and pecked his lips and Pattie stared at us in awe.

"Justin you are such a gentlemen." She cooed, ruffling up his hair as she walked by. He glared at her and fixed it with his free hand. "You sure do know how to treat your princess." She added, copying what he had previously called me. I smiled at her.

"That's because I was raised by a queen." He said proudly, making Pattie blush and put her hand on her heart.

"Oh Justin. I love you." She said, kissing his forehead.

"Love you too mom." He replied. "And I love you Hails." He told me, making me giggle.

"I love you, too." I said back.

"So, you guys just come to visit?" Pattie asked, as she sat on the couch opposite of me and Justin. I hadn't even realized she asked the question since I was to focused on how amazing my foot massage was, until I heard Justin speak again.

"We actually came to show you pictures. We had an appointment before we came here." He told her, motioning me to get them. I reached over to get my wallet from the other side of the couch.

"Here." I said pulling them out and handing them over to Pattie. She gladly took them from me, as smiled widely once she noticed what the pictures were.

"Oh gosh, I'm so happy for you two." Pattie cooed staring at the pictures in admiration. "You know, I never pictured Justin actually settling for one girl and all of this happening."

Justin gasped, putting his hand over his heart, his other still massaging me foot. "Wow mom, that hurt." He joked. I laughed and looked back at Pattie.

"Well it's true! I knew you were a player honey." She said making me laugh again. I noticed Justin's cheeks turn red and he hid his face, embarrassed.

"Aww look, you made him blush." I teased, turning my head so he could see me. He was pouting, but I knew he was trying hard not to smile.

He suddenly looked up. "Well it's hard not to fall in love with you." He said, cupping my face and squeezing my cheeks together, making my lips look like the lips of a fish. He puckered his and placed a kiss on mine. It only lasted a second or two, since Pattie was in the room. I heard Pattie mutter 'too cute' under her breath, I giggled.
