I look at the clock and notice Eric still isn't back yet. He should be.

I hear talking outside the door as I make my way closer to the door to eavesdrop.

"Thank you for coming with me today." Eric's voice. He's putting the moves on. I can tell. He doesn't use manners with anyone.

A woman giggles. "No problem I had a good time. Tell that little cutie of yours happy birthday from me." Her voice sounds sweet.

I don't hear much next, but I can guess that they're probably making out by the slight moan I hear from Eric.

Eric opens the front door and knocks me nearly over considering my ear was directly on the door. I let out a slight groan and Eric looks at me with his forehead wrinkled.

"What are you doing?" He growls softly.

I put my hand on my hip. "What are you doing?" I bite back.

"Nothing." He grins showing all his teeth.

"You fucking brought her to do Ean's first birthday shopping?" My heart hurts slightly.

"Well, I got chocolate and peanut butter for you so technically it wasn't just for him."

I put my hand on his chest. "Oh then alllll is forgiven, you are the best!" I say sarcastically.

He beams not even picking up on the sarcasm. "Thank you." He starts putting things for the party away while humming.

"I'm joking," I growl. "While you were out with your skank, I was in here puking with your child while taking care of your other one. Thank you for that."

"Don't call her that." He growls back at me. "She's not like that."

"Yeah and neither was Vanessa," I roll my eyes.

He snorts. "No. Vanessa really was like that."

"I can't believe you," I huff. "How would you feel if I went out on dates while carrying your child?" I cross my arms.

"You can't right now since you're on apartment rest anyways, but I mean afterwards we can have set days where you date whomever and I go out with Audrey. We can take turns watching the children, but of course we won't bring our dates around them." Eric begins to get back into his good mood.

"Hmm," I say. "No." I say simply and I watch as he blinks. "No I think I'm gonna go out on dates because this environment and this apartment and you, you're making me stressed out. I think I'm going to go out find a date and make out until my stress is gone." I smile.

Eric smiles back. "You can't with our child inside you unless you want me to bring Ean around Audrey."

"That's not fair," I growl. "I have no choice in who gets to carry. You're pregnant too, you can't date if I can't!"

"If that's the rules now I guess I can adjust, but no promises since Audrey and I do work together." He smirks.

"I don't care about work," my teeth grit, "but dates are a no, no staying at work late because you two decided to 'hang out' you're going to come home straight from work, and you're going to help with Ean and help with me especially when I'm throwing up--I don't want you to just stare at me and ask me idiotic questions like you always do."

He laughs for awhile. "Sure, sure. Doesn't matter to me. I still get to see her."

I shrug my shoulders. "Doesn't matter to me, it's work, not a date," I warn him.
