Classic apple pie
Pie DOUGH:
Margarine 75 g
Butter 50 g
Icing sugar 50 g
Vanilla paste 1 tsp
Medium flour 250 g
Egg 1 pc

APPLE FILLING:
Apple 2 pc
Lime juice 1 tbsp
Raisin 20 g
Sugar 150 g
Cornstarch 20 g
Water 3 tbsp
Cinnamon powder 1 g
Nutmeg powder 1 g

HOW TO MAKE SUGAR DOUGH:
1. Preheat the oven at 170°C use fan.

Step 1:
Combine margarine, butter, vanilla paste and icing sugar in one mixing bowl.
¬ Mix at low speed until smooth about 2 minutes.

Step 2:
Pour the flour into the mixture gradually.
¬ Mix at medium speed until become sandy texture.

Step 3:
¬ Pour the egg into the mixture.
¬ Mix at low speed until dough become wad.
¬ Remove from mixer and set aside.

Step 4:
Prepare rolling pin and baking paper.
¬ Rolled the dough until thin about 5mm.
(NOTE: if the dough become sticky don’t for get to dusting it with extra flour).
¬ Mold the dough into the tart pan diameter 20 cm (already brush with melted butter and dust flour).

Step 5:
Pour the filling into the shell.
¬ Make web with extra dough(see chef instruction).
¬ Brush on top with egg yolk ¬ Bake at 170°C about 40-45 minutes.from : siek_ling (IG)
