The fashion show was a week away and Christmas was also just around the corner. Damian had now been speaking more to his mother and they were on decent terms. Lucy and her mother wrote letters to each other. Lucy was working at Wayne Enterprise and it wasn't that bad. There was no school as of now due to it being Christmas break. Damian woke up the sleeping girl next to him.

Even though there were tons of rooms Damian preferred for Lucy to sleep next to him. Lucy opened her eyes and looked at him. "Hm." She said. "We have things to do today." Damian said and got out of the bed. "What things?" Lucy asked. "Just get ready." Damian said. "How nice do I have to dress?" Lucy asked. "You always dress nice." Damian mumbled. "Huh?" Lucy asked. "Nothing just dress casual." Damian said. Lucy nodded.

She got herself out of bed and began to get ready for the day. She brushed her teeth and washed her face. She found a large sweater and some leggings. "A basic bitch. I think so." Lucy said to herself. She brushed her hair and then realized she couldn't really see too well. She groaned. "Fuck." She said. She reached into the night stand and put her glasses on. She needed to see. Like her mother she had bad eyes.

She was a little blind, she didn't always need to wear them but every now and then she did. She put on some chapstick and then her shoes. "Let's go!" Lucy shouted. Damian dragged her out the room. "Where are you two going?" Dick asked. "Don't worry about it." Damian said. "Wait I thought this was a family outing. I'm grounded I can't-" "I already spoke to father about it he's okay with it." Damian said as they walked outside.

"You don't need a ride?" Dick asked. "I can drive." Damian said. Him and Lucy got into his car and took off. "Where are we going?" Lucy asked. "You'll see." Damian said. First stop the butterfly garden. Yes it was cold outside but warm on the inside of the garden. Butterflies and pretty flowers all around. Lucy held Damian's hand as they walked around. "I love it here." Lucy said. Damian nodded. "I really appreciate you bringing me here." Lucy said. "You're welcome." Damian said.

Damian let go of Lucy's hand as they walked and she pouted but he couldn't see her pout because he was focused on pulling out the camera he bought her. "Lucy." He said. Lucy looked at him and he was holding a box. She grabbed the box and like a child gave it a small shake. "Careful." Damian said. "Oh." Lucy said. They set on a bench and she opened the box inside was a pink Polaroid camera. Lucy smiled. "Dami you didn't have to." Lucy said as she pulled out the camera.

"It's to help you cope better." Damian said. "Thank you so much." She said and hugged him. Damian hugged her back. "Let's take a picture." Lucy said. She set up the camera and then scooted closer to Damian she stretched out her arm and smiled. Damian smirked and she took the picture. The picture came out. She was so excited. She knew she had to leave it alone for a moment but still. When the picture developed she was in love. "We look so cute." She said.

"I'm glad you like it." Damian said. "I love it." She said and hugged him again. "Thank you so much this really means a lot to me." She said. "You mean a lot to me." Damian said. Lucy smiled at him. "You mean a lot to me too." Lucy said. Damian smiled. Lucy took pictures of the butterflies and flowers when she was done her and Damian left. He took her to the next destination which was roller skating. She was so excited. Damian got the hang of roller skating rather quickly it didn't take him long.

Damian loved seeing Lucy smile. She was smiling so much her face was hurting. Even when she fell on her ass while skating she was still smiling. When they finished he took her home. They curled up on the couch with hot coco and watched her favorite movie the aristocats. Titus came into the living room and jumped on the couch. "Titus." Damian said. "Hey baby." Lucy cooed. Titus licked her. She laughed. When the movie finished Lucy was tired.
