[Just a quick chapter with a variety of angst, explanation, and fluff-- just kidding it wasn't quick I did one paragraph per passing period and then the rest at home, but overall it only took an hour with all that combined time I suppose]

TW: Anxiety Attacks

Virgil bleeped out his tongue as he scrolled through Tumblr, smirking at the Fander Fanart from this week, most of it being of all the aspects' new outfits and clothing swaps, despite this event having gone down almost a month ago. Despite that fact, there was still new fanart rolling in and it was still exceedingly exceptional. Though if you asked Virgil he would simply shrug and nod, as per usual. He had found a particular image of he and prince he admired when-

There was a knock on the door.

Virgil scrambled as fast as possible to exit out of the piece of art and slammed his phone into his pocket just as Logan and Patton opened the door, "Ah, what have I done wrong this time?"

Logan frowned, "Quite the contrary, actually." He sighed, "Roman is..."

"BROKEN- MY SON IS BROKEN!" Patton shrieked, clinging to Logan's shoulder in dismay.

"That's...one word for it." Logan nodded, "Disheartened, down, trembling and mumbling incoherent messages on his bed." Logan stated.

Virgil winced at the last part, having much experience with this kind of scene. He got up and nodded, "I'll go see what I can do."

"-Thanks." Logan nodded.

"SAVE HIM!" Patton screamed.

Virgil simply gave a small smile and wave and headed around them and out the door, ducking down.

He reappeared in front of Roman's door a few moments later, pausing for a moment before noticing the muffled whimpers.

Virgil instantly felt an aching in his chest but fought it back, knocking on the door, "Princey?"

Virgil had expected the sobbing the stop and for the royal to say something like I'm fine or Go away. But instead there was the sound of increased whines.

"V-irgil!" Roman called out.

Virgil was worried about this to say the least. He immediately slammed the door open and saw exactly what Logan had described.

Roman was curled in a tight ball on his bed with bloodshot eyes and trembling hands.

Virgil didn't think twice before sliding over to him and sitting at the foot of his bed, knowing that contact wasn't always the best thing when it came to things like this, "Ro? Whats...wrong?" Virgil really did want to help, but this didn't stop him from feeling awkward nonetheless.

Roman was staring at the wall with a fresh set of tears, "F-F-"

"F-F?" Virgil repeated in confusion.

"Fanf-fiction." Roman cried out.

Virgil felt a sense of relief wash over him, he felt like screaming at the royal for giving him such a scare but knew better than to further upset him, "Uh...do you want to...talk abo-"

Roman immediately started, "I-It was one ab-bout us-"

Virgil felt like sinking into oblivion, he had read some of Fander works and then seemed very fond of the relationship between he and Roman.

"A-and it was about- y-you and me- but- y-you died and- someone tried to-take me-away and- you died-" Roman wasn't able to get over that fact, "A-and my room was manipulating th-the read so I could S-see it all physically and- it-" Roman shook his head and curled tighter into himself, "I know- I know it's S-stupid but- it was so real- I lost you and-"

Virgil could tell continuing to talk about this wasn't going to help anything, "I'm here tho-"

"I know that." Roman sniffled.

"What's wrong then?" Virgil felt the increasing amount of awkwardness as he broke his standard dark persona- though around the prince that persona hardly existed anymore.

"You were dead!"

"But now I'm not-"

"But you were!"

Virgil sighed, "Roman, listen to me."

Roman blinked a bit in surprise, hardly ever being called by his actual name from the darker aspect.

Virgil put a hand to Roman's side, "This is real," Virgil rubbed his hand comfortingly, "and this is real," he motioned to both he and the prince, "But- forget I said that after today-" Virgil cleared his throat quickly before scooting closer to the Prince, having felt like the other was now okay with contact. He leaned against Roman's legs, "Plus, I thought you hated Fanfiction?"

Roman was beginning to calm down, "I know but- I hadn't realized th-that they'd made stuff about...us." He dabbed at his eyes and tried to draw the attention away from his break down.

"There's hundreds of things." Virgil sighed.

"...May we look at some- positive ones that is- I've had enough negativity today." Roman curls his upper body up to rest his chin on Virgil's shoulder while still giving the other back support.

"You have such strange mood changes." Virgil shook his head.

"You're anxiety, you're supposed to be...angsty...and thus not be comforting as you are now- however it seems you're retreating back into your angst hut again. I'm fanciful and yes I do indeed get sad sometimes."

"Your point?"

"We have heightened emotions not no emotions- meaning I have intensified joy and creativity so of course I'm happy now!"

"You were just crying over Fanfiction th-"

"Because I lost you and I love you." Roman knew this would end the conversation because he knew Virgil wouldn't respond.

Though what the two did do is spend the next hour looking through some fanderfinds.

"Virgil?"

"Yeah, Ro?"

"What's- this?"

"What?"

"Logicality?"
