"Logan! Logan! Logan!" Patton came busting into the Logical traits room, skidding to a halt as he entered.

"Dear Lord, what in the name of Thomas is wrong?" Logan sighed as he slammed shut a book in his hands.

"I just saw...get ready for this-" Patton squealed, "A puppy!"

"...Yes, well...Puppies do exist, so, that's not very uncommon." Logan frowned.

"No- No- I mean in the mind palace! A puppy in the mind-palace!" Patton could hardly keep a hold of all his excitement.

Logan shook his head, "As in...in here?"

"In the living room mind-palace!" Patton screamed enthusiastically.

Logan scratched his head in through before groaning, "Great Starclan, Roman is summoning them again, isn't he?"

"You say that as if it's bad!" Patton giggled.

"Virgil is allergic to dogs, of course it's bad." Logan grumbled and hoisted himself up, "Now I'm supposed to be the bearer of bad news." He strode out of the room quickly, slamming the door shut behind him and leaving a giddy Patton alone to wait for his return.

Patton sat on the edge of Logan's bed for all of a minute before deciding he was bored and leaping up to snoop about and around the the logical-trait's room. He mainly found Warriors and Text books, as well as some geometrical shaped stress and fidget toys before his eyes landed on a particular book on Logan's desk, the one that he had been writing in prior to Patton's great entrance.

Patton felt a pull at his chest that told him that he should definitely not open this book...but yet again, he was Patton. With his curiosity and morals at war, he let his childish side take control and stead him forward so his hands would grab the book and flip it open to its first page content. It had lined, college-rule paper with scribbles filling nearly all its pages. The scribbles happened to make up words, and words made up sentences, which made up paragraphs, which made up a book, which was a journal. But not simply any old journal...No, as Patton looked at the second page he saw dates that marked the top and a summary of...what seemed to be Logan's day down below. He gasped to himself as he put two and two together, "Lo' has a diary!" He squealed, instantly sitting himself down to begin reading.

Entry One

I suppose I'll keep more of journal entries in here. I essentially don't see the purpose of diaries, but I've gotten one due to my...above average increase of emotions lately, and so it seems that via writing in a sacred notebook is the most effective way of emotional expression if one would rather not express it in reality and-

Patton yelled as a hand grabbed his shoulder. He turned his head and to his horror he found Logan glaring at him.

"Give me, the book." Logan demanded.

"...Okay." Patton sighed and began to give the book back.

Logan bent down to grab the book, however, Patton then pulled it forward, causing Logan to fall over Patton and land with a thump on the ground.

"Love you Lo! Don't kill me!" Patton squealed as he scrambled out of the room.

"Patton Sanders, get back here at once!" Logan yelled after Patton.

Patton went running down the hall with Logan at his heels, continuing to read different entires,

"Cold in my professions, warmed by my  fri-" Patton skipped to the next page, "Learning how to say The Prince is stup-" There was a small gasp from Logan as he skidded to a halt.

"Patton I swear- don't you dare read another page!" Logan's voice sounded absolutely desperate as Patton had leapt on top of the fridge and was out of reach.

"Ooo why not?" Patton grinned.

Logan sighed, "Patton, I beg of you, if you respect my privacy I will give you what you wish."

Patton frowned at the amount of brokenness in Logan's voice, he sighed before dropping the book.

Logan beamed and snatched the book up, "Thank...you..."

Patton slid down from the fridge, "...I just wanted to find an entry about me in there..." He mumbled.

Logan frowned at how innocent Patton sounded, "Why would you need that?"

Patton simply shrugged.

Logan gave a small smile before putting a hand on Patton's shoulder begrudgingly, "Patton, you don't need a diary entry to find some source of affection if you need so..."

Patton let out a few incoherent mumbles.

"Patton,"

Patton looked up at Logan.

"...I love you."
