One of my favorite things about Arlan is the way he just randomly cuddles with me. I could just be minding my own business while reading on the couch and he'll just crawl up next to me. He'll slowly snake his arms around my waist and curl into me, his head resting comfortably on my shoulder or sometimes nestled into the crook of my neck to give me short and feathery kisses.
I love to imagine him as a cat. I even drew him as a cat in a short comic he framed and put in his office. I drew myself reading and then him coming along as a cat and disrupting me by sprawling out on my lap. The last frame is me reading again with a small smile and him sleeping peacefully in a ball on my lap with hearts surrounding us. He even posted it on Twitter and Instagram with the caption 'You know the relationship is good when she thinks of you as an annoying cat 🐈'. All his fans and friends liked them. Jon, as surprising as that is, even commented 'goals XD'.
"Miel~?" A small voice comes from beyond the paper covers of my book.
"Yes?" I look up from it. I've been reading the last sentence over and over again since all I've been thinking about lately is Arlan and how much I love him. Mushy and Gushy, I know, but it's true!
"Lui wants me to head over to his house, David does too." He's sitting on his knees in front of my recliner and looking up at me with huge puppy dog eyes. I melt just a little bit at the sight. How can one human be so CUTE!?
"Okay?" I say slowly, breathily chuckling. "And you're telling me why?"
"I wanted to make sure it was okay with you." I melt a little bit more at those words. He's always so considerate.
"Of course it's okay with me." I smile down at him and he bolts up from his position, kissing me quickly before resting his forehead against mine.
"Gracias cariño, te amo." He whispers against my lips before standing up and heading towards the door, waving and blowing a kiss before he actually leaves. I can feel myself blushing harshly and I smile like an idiot as I bookmark my book and set it down.
"Te amo," I whisper even though I obviously know for a fact he can't hear me anymore.

I yawn and turn off the lamp in our bedroom before snuggling under the covers of our bed. I pull out my phone and scroll through Twitter one last time before shutting it off and plugging it into its charger. I roll onto my side and sigh, yawning once more before getting comfy with my body pillow wrapped up tightly in my arms and legs.
I'm about to fall asleep when I feel the bed dip down and a pair of cold hands on my hips. I yelp loudly, jumping in bed and throwing my body pillow onto the floor. "Lo siento cariño, it's only me." Arlan's voice whispers into my ear. His lips press gently to my neck as he pulls me closer to him. I take a few deep breaths, giggling slightly.
"I almost had a heart attack," I whisper back, rolling over to face him. He smiles cheekily at me in the dark of the room. I peck his nose and snuggle into him. He's already changed into a pair of boxer briefs and his bare chest radiates tons of soothing heat. "You were so quiet I didn't even know you got home." I add, feeling his free arm pull me closer to him. One of his hands runs up and down my side, while the other rests underneath his head.
"I said I was sorry." He pouts, kissing my forehead. I smile brightly, nuzzling his cheek.
"Disculpa aceptada, gatito." I feel the vibrations of his laughter through his chest and I giggle myself, squeezing his torso.
"You know I don't like that nickname." He whispers into my hair.
I yawn, kissing his chest gently. "I know, that's why I use it." I feel him hold me tighter, hugging me gently. I welcome the feeling of slumber and I yawn again. "Goodnight, gatito."
