Jack's POV
Y/n, my girlfriend, was a soldier away at war. I hadn't seen her in three years and I was worried. Even though we still sent letters everyday, I still worried. Anything could happen within twenty four hours.
I'd gotten off of the plane for PAX and headed to the baggage claim area. Mark was picking me up outside so I wanted to hurry. I hadn't seen him in a while and I needed someone to cheer me up.
Time skip to PAX cos I is a sh*t writer.
Mark, Felix and my panel was about to start. It felt different this time for some reason (please keep in mind I've never been to PAX so I'm making this up).
"TOP OF THE MORNIN TO YA LADDIES!" I shouted as I walked into stage. Mark and Felix followed and we sat on the sofa in the center of the stage.
"We'll be doing a Q&A so we're expecting AMAZING questions." Mark smiled. "Let's go! You!" Mark pointed to a tall boy with ginger hair and blue eyes.
"So, uh, Jack. Where's y/n?" He asked, continuously looking behind me.
"Uh, she's a soldier away at war. I really miss her." I laughed as I wiped a stray tear away. "I've not seen her in three years and everything's been different." I smiled sadly.
"No need to miss me." A voice whispered over my shoulders, soft hands on them. I froze as the person jumped over the back of the sofa, sitting next to me. "I'm back, Jackaboy." They said. I couldn't believe it.
"Y/n!" I exclaimed, standing up and hugging her tightly. She hugged me back tightly too. "I missed you." I laughed into her hair.
"I missed you too." Tears fell from both of our eyes. She pulled away, cupping my face with her hands. "I love you." She smiled before kissing me. "I told you I was coming home." She whispered when we parted. Everyone was clapping and cheering.
Y/n's army uniform was baggy and her hair was tucked under her hat. Her e/c eyes shone with happiness.
"You have no idea how long I've waited to surprise you. I don't need to go back. I'm staying with you now. They let me leave because of my service." She smiled brightly.
"Really?" I asked hopefully. She nodded her head quickly, taking her hat off. Her h/c hair was still beautiful and looked as silky as ever.
"I love you too." I smiled. "Now let's get on with this panel!" I turned to the audience that suddenly erupted in applauses and cheering.
