I was waiting at the airport, unable to stand still. Y/f/n name was recording me. I was finally going to meet my best friend, Mark. We met online and hit it off. We had so much in common. The thing was, I lived in Scotland (just go with it) and he lived in California.

"Flight from California to Glasgow has now landed." A voice said through a speaker. I brought my sleeve covered hands to my mouth, moving constantly. I glanced at y/f/n who gave me the thumbs up.

I looked around, not seeing Mark.

"He should be here by now." I muttered. Hands were placed on my shoulders.

"Boo." Someone whispered. I turned round and wrapped my arms around Mark's neck. I began crying as I hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my waist, nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck. We moved from foot to foot as we hugged.

"I'm so glad you're here." I cried, still hugging him tightly.

"I can't believe I'm actually meeting you." Mark pulled away from the hug, staring into my eyes. I wiped his eyes and he did the same to me before we hugged again.

Screaming was heard from the other side of the hall. We looked over and saw a bunch of girls holding posters with Mark on.

"Run." Mark laughed before grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of the airport.

"Markiplier fangirls?" I asked when we were safe in y/f/n's car. Mark nodded, catching his breath.

We arrived at my house. We got out of the car and y/f/n drove off. I grabbed my keys and we entered my house. We'd driven about an hour to get to a small town not many people knew about. I put my keys down and shut the door after Mark walked through the door.

"I'm so, so, so glad you're here." I wiped my eyes while laughing. Mark walked over and hugged me.

"I'm so glad I'm here too. I'm actually meeting my best friend." Mark smiled.

"Movie time!" I sang, holding tons of DVDs, blankets and bags of popcorn.

"Whoo!" Mark cheered. I sat next to him on the sofa, dumping everything on the floor. I grabbed the DVDs.

"Which one?" I asked, showing him them all.

"Uh, y/f/m." Mark suggested.

"Yeah!" I put the other DVDs down before putting y/f/m into the TV.

Mark and I sat for ages just watching movies, eating popcorn and catching up. Mark and his girlfriend had broken up, his channel was getting bigger by the day and how close Ethan and Tyler were now.

But all I could think was how glad I was that he was my best friend.

And maybe...

Just maybe...

I was growing feelings for Mark.
