"I'm leaving." I gritted my teeth while packing my bags.

"Y/n! I know I was wrong! But please don't leave! There was no feelings and I was drunk and, uh! Please don't leave!" Jack pleaded.

"Save your apologies. But tell me, how long has this been going on?" I asked, throwing the other woman's bra to the other side of the room.

"It was only once! I promise!" Jack held my shoulders. I pulled them from his grip with tears in my eyes.

"I'm moving back with y/f/n." I muttered, zipping up my bag.

"No please! She/he lives so far from here!" Jack pleaded, tears making his face shine.

"That's the point! I know you cheated more than once! How am I supposed to trust you after this?" I cried, walking out of the room with my bags.

"Please! I didn't mean it!" Jack hugged me. I pushed him off.

"Don't touch me." I said with as much confidence as I could muster up, wiping away my tears. I ran down the stairs and out of the front door.

The rain was pouring down, instantly soaking me. Jack called for me as I ran down the street, waiting at a bus stop.

I waited about an hour for the bus and guessed that Jack had just given up on trying to get me back. The bus slowly drove over the wet a d slippy road before stopping in front of me. I got on, handing my money to the man and finding a seat near the back.

An old woman sat in the seat in front of me next to who I supposed was her husband. Another few couples sat together with one or two people in work outfits and briefcases.

I looked out of the window as we drove past Jack's house. I saw him pacing in the living room, running his hands through his brown hair. A woman walked up to him, trying to calm him but he threw her off. Guess that's the woman he cheated on me with. I sighed, resting my elbow on the armrest and placing my head on my palm.

The bus stopped and a couple people got off and a few more got on. A woman and her daughter sat in the seats the old couple had previously sat in. They had bags with them and the woman had tears falling from her face.

"Uh, miss? Are you alright?" I asked the lady. She turned round and shook her head.

"My husband cheated on me. That's why me and my daughter are on this bus to get away from him." She wiped her eyes.

"It's the same here for me. My boyfriend cheated. But I'm sure it'll get better." I smiled sadly, graving my bags and beginning to stand up.

"Uh, my name's Jo, by the way. This is Rilee. And, here's my number if you need me..." She wrote her number on a ripped piece of paper before stopping.

"Y/n." I answered softly.

"Y/n." She repeated with a smile. She handed me the paper and I put it in my pocket. Just as I was walking out of my seat, the little girl, Rilee, pulled on my jumper.

"Thank you for making my mama happy." She gave me a toothy grin, her front two teeth missing.

"You're welcome." I smiled before leaving the bus.
