I sat in Starbucks, sipping on my coffee with the sleeves of my red jumper covering my hands. It was quite empty. Just me and two couples.

"Um... Do you mind if I sit here?" A strong, masculine voice asked. I looked up, seeing a black haired male with beautiful brown eyes.

"Uh... S-sure..." I replied, putting my cup down and tugging at my sleeves.

"I'm Mark, what's your name?" Mark asked.

"I'm, uh, y/n." I tapped the tips of my toes on the floor.

"That's a beautiful name for a beautiful woman." Mark smiled. I felt my face heat up. He grabbed a pen from his pocket, writing something on a napkin. "Here. Just incase you want to talk at some point." He shrugged. His number was written on the paper, along with a message.

"Uh, thanks. Hey, I'm going to the park. Do.... Do you want to come along?" I asked. I was prepared for a straight up 'no' but instead...

"Yeah, sure." Mark smiled. A small smile crept its way to my face. "Let's go then." He added. I nodded, grabbing my bag, the napkin and my coffee. I stood up, and we left Starbucks.

As it was now autumn, the leaves were falling from the trees. It was beautiful. Red, green, yellow and orange leaves creating piles of leaves or just scattered over the floor.

Mark and I sat on a bench, just talking. We had alot in common. We liked alot of the same foods, colours, video games, movies and books. There was one thing I didn't tell him though. About it. The reason I always wore jumpers. No one knew about it. And I was fine that way.

"Well, I've got to get back home. But I'll see you another day, right?" Mark stood up, me following his lead.

"Yeah, course." A small smile on my face.

"Well, see you at some point." Mark smiled before kissing my forehead. I stood in shock, processing what Mark did as he walked away.

"Bye." I managed to squeak out before turning and walking the other way.
