~break time before dinner service~

Groaning, I stretched to get rid of the tension in my arms from cooking. After having finishing the dishes, Hyunwoo walked over to me and asked what he should do next.

"Ahh, I am not to sure. Oh, yeah. I said I would teach you some things during break. Mmm, tonight's menu is filet mignon with mash potatoes and aspargus, New York steak with roasted tomatoes, string beans, and house special butter..."

"I can cook the meat if you want. My dad says that I always cook it just right," he states like everyone knew that.

"Oh really," I said while arching a brow.

"Yeah. I'll show you," he replies before going to get the ingredients and equipment necessary.

~fast forward 5 minutes~

*searing*

"Can you pass me the red wine?" I hand it to him, but when I let go, he did not have a good grab on it. I reached out to grab it and at the same time, he did too. At that moment, time seemed to stand still for a moment. His face was three inches away from my face. I stared at him like a deer in headlights. We both didn't notice that the wine sloshed out a bit and dirtied our clothes.

*tick tock tick tock*

Like a flame, blood rushed to my cheeks making them rosy. Out of panic, I spun around and ran out of the kitchen to the back alley way all the while ignoring his calls, and Minhyuk's laughing eyes.
