Kihyun

~ the following Friday night~

~Lotte World Ice Rink~

"It's so cold," I grumbled as we got closer to the ice rink. Wordlessly, Hyunwoo takes my left hand and puts it into his pocket all the while holding my hand.

"I think we can rent skates over here," he says as if he didn't do a romantic gesture just now. When we got there, I quickly handed the cashier my credit card and told him our shoe sizes. Hyunwoo opens his mouth to say something, but I glared at him daring him to say he should be the one to pay for it. He looks at me silently for a moment before looking away.

Soon enough, we were strapping on our skates and waddled to the opening to the rink. Hyunwoo got on the ice first and spun around to help me maintain my balance. I held onto both of his hands and slowly stepped onto the ice. Like a newborn deer just learning how to walk, my feet went out from under me and I crashed into Hyunwoo face first.

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

"No, it tickled," I grumbled as I stood up right. He snorts and begins to skate backwards thus dragging me with him. "Hey, I wasn't ready!"

"Just trust me," he smiles.

"Mhmm."

"You don't think I will make sure you don't fall down on your butt?"

"...no?"

"Okay then," he says and let's go of my hand.

Hyunwoo

"Get back here right now," Kihyun shouts as he wobbles in place.

"I don't want too," I said while sticking out my tongue at him.

"Just wait until I g-," he says as he tries to get to me, but he doesn't get much closer. He pouts and crosses his arms.

"Aww, does someone need my help," I asked in teasing tone. He huffs and frowns cutely. I chuckled and went over to him. "To skate, you need step forward and push out to the side. With the other foot, do the same thing. And, keep repeating. Like this," I told him before demonstrating how.

"Easier said than done," he says as he attempts to do it. After a few attempts, he manages to skate, but he was still unbalanced. I went behind him and held him by his hips so he would be steady. He freezes in place.

"Just me," I whispered as I began to skate and propel him forward. I looked down to see him blushing lightly. He then places his hands on top of mine and smiled softly. As we skated around, we had to weave in and out of people who were struggling or going to slow. I made us go over to the beginners' side of the rink and grabbed a shopping cart that had been modified into a sled.

"Hop in," I told him.  He gives me a weary look, but he still gets in. I laughed internally as he fell into my plan so easily. I grabbed onto the handle and skated fast.

"...yah. Yah! YaH," he shouts as we were going quite fast. Then, I let go of the cart. When he got a few feet away, I caught up with him and grabbed onto the cart. I then grounded my feet in order to stop it. Eventually, we came to a stop narrowly not crashing into a couple.

"Sorry," we both said in unison. The couple just gives us the stank face before nodding and going on their merry way.

"Rude," Kihyun mumbles under his breath. "And, you! What were you thinking?! Someone could have gotten hurt. I could've got hurt," Kihyun reprimands me.

"You're so adorable when you are mad," I smiled before kissing him suddenly.

"You think a kiss will make it up to me?!"

"Yeah."

"...it totally isn't working," Kihyun mumbles under his breath with blush dusting his cheeks.
