Hyunwoo
~just before Kihyun comes outside~
Oh my god! Why didn't I just out and asked him out during dinner?! God damn it. Maybe, I should wait until there is a better opportunity. Or should I just straight up say it? But, then when?
*door opening*
Kihyun had a strange look on his face so I asked, "Did something happen?"
"..no," he says in an un-confident tone. I knew that he was lying but if he didn't want to talk about it, then I won't pry.
~in the car~
Should I just out and say it right now? Would it be awkward? What if he suddenly decides that he doesn't swing this way anymore? I gripped onto the steering wheel and tried to not get lost in thought while driving.
Meanwhile, Kihyun starts humming some old tune while staring out the windowwith the moonlight shining on him like he is the main character in some music video.
As we slowly but surely approached his flat through the traffic on the highway, I felt anxious as this night is coming to an end and I didn't even confess yet. How pathetic...
~in front of Kihyun's block of flats~
When I pulled over to the side of the road, many things were running around in mind.
"Umm, thank you for today and tonight," Kihyun says before opening the car door to get out.
"No problem."
"Then, see you at work?"
"Yeah," I said with a half smile. Maybe next time then...
He nods and exits my car before making his way up the stairs. Just as he ascended four steps, I drew up all the courage I had and got out of my car go to him.
"Kihyun," I shouted as I ran to catch up with him.
He turns around looking a bit puzzled.
"Did I forget something?"
"No."
"Then..."
I took a deep breath before asking, "Will you go out with me?"
