Kihyun

~two weeks later~

It has been getting harder and harder to hide it from Hyunwoo. He almost caught me two days ago, but he got a call from someone and left the room without seeing me throwing away a napkin with some blood on it. My medicine seem to be less effective now.

I went to see a doctor a week ago. He says that the illness is getting worst faster than anticipated and that they still haven't found a cure. I am scared. I don't want to die. I don't want to go.

"-hyun. Kih-. Kihyun ah~," Hyunwoo calls out to me. I blinked rapidly and turned to look at the man who made me feel whole...the man that makes me want to live...the man that I love. I smiled brightly trying to not show that something is wrong. I want to be strong for him.

"Yeah?"

"What were you thinking about," he asks and takes my hand into his.

"You," I answered and smiled again.

"Hey, I thought I was supposed to be the cheesy one," he laughs and kisses my hand.

"Hah, you got me...,"  I replied with a tight smile.

"Where do you want to go today? It is so rare that my dad gives all of his employees the day off," he says with a smile that made his eyes crinkle the way I love. Knowing that I won't be able to see it much longer is making my heart ache.

"Let's go to Namsan Tower."

"Okay. We can be like Geum JanDi and Gu JunPyo," he laughs.

"...yeah," I said after thinking about it for a second.

~a few hours later~

~at Namsan Tower~

I cupped my hands in front of my mouth and exhaled to warm them up. When I was about to rub my hands together, Hyunwoo grabs my hands and breathes on them before rubbing them together. I snorted and then rolled my eyes at him.

"Come on. Let's go before we get a crappy spot in the gondola," he says after he lets go of my right hand and holds my left hand. As we entered the lobby, the smell of coffee hit my nose. Hyunwoo walked over to the coffee vending machine and buys two cups. When the machine finished, he hands me one before taking my hand again and leading me to where the ride was.

Thankfully, we got in line before a group of high schoolers did. Soon enough, it was our turn. We went to the front of the gondola and gazed out of the glass walls. The city lights slowly became smaller but still bright as the ride started. The stars were out in full display. Not a single cloud was to be seen. The moon is full and exhibiting soft light bathing everything in its path.

"Look at this picturesque view. So pretty...like you," Hyunwoo says as he hugs me from behind.

"I'm handsome not pretty," I pouted and leaned back into his embrace enjoying the warmth that radiated from his body. He chuckles lightly and rests his chin on my shoulder before pressing a kiss to my cheek. We stayed silent until we reached the top.

"Next year, let's come back here again when it is snowing," he says.

"...okay," I said hesitantly.
