~his apartment~
"Ow, P'Pha. Sawadee krap," I said into the phone.
"Sawadee, Nong," he says cheerfully.
"..."
"Is something wrong," he asks with worry lacing his voice.
"I don't know if I want to go in to see Dr. Lee today. I don't have high hopes that this results from the tests will be good," I sighed as I rolled onto my back on my bed.
"...Nong. Would you like to come to Thailand and see that specialist that I told you about?"
"I already emailed him and sent him my medical reports and history. He said he never seen this illness before, and he said that he wasn't sure if he could do anything except for delaying the inevitable," I said as tears threatened to leave my eyes.
"I...I am so sorry, Nong. If I could trade my life to save yours, I would do it in a heartbeat," he states firmly.
"Thank you, but I wouldn't want to take yours to extend mine," I sniffed.
"Don't cry, Nong. Don't lose hope! Stay strong! P' will find someone who can save you. P' won't let anything happen to you..."

~the next day~
~at the restaurant~
I could tell that there was something wrong with Kihyun this morning. He didn't exclude the normal bubbly aura that he usually does. His eyes were tinged red as if he was crying, and his nose was a bit red too. When he met my gaze, he quickly blinks rapidly and dabs at his eyes before giving me a fake smile.
After he walks up to me, he hugs me tight and hides his face in my chest sniffling. Stunned, I absentmindedly stroked his back with one hand and wrapped my other arm around his waist. I rested my chin on top of his head as millions of thoughts ran amuck in my head trying to think of what could have possibly made my hamster so upset. My heart hurt just thinking if one of those thoughts could be true.
He pulls back suddenly and smiles bittersweetly as he looked into my eyes with such emotion.
"Kihyun ah... is something wrong?"
"....I just had a bad dream," he says in low tone.
"Oh, should I come over tonight to make sure that you don't have another one," I said to lift up his mood.
He stares at me strangely before laughing and smacked my chest as his cheeks redden at this thought. "Pabo..," he stutters, and runs off.
"Come back here," I laughed as I chased him around the restaurant.
"You got to catch me first," he shouts as he weaved in and out of the way of the tables and chairs. We chased each other around for a good five minutes before we circled around a table trying to psych the other out. Kihyun makes it look like he was going to run to the left, but I caught on and grabbed him by the waist. I picked him up and swung him in a circle. He yelps and demands to be put down this instance. Once I did, he wobbles as if he was drunk, and fell onto me.
"Careful," I chastised him and pressed a kiss to his cheek. He doesn't say anything, and just smiles.

His name is God Itthipat Thanit. He is a Thai actor. I combined the name of his character in 'Two Moons' (a Thai BL tv series and book), the title his character would have after med school, and his real name. I didn't base anything else on his character or 'Two Moons' for my character. I recommend watching this BL series, Love by Chance, and 'S.O.T.U.S.' The chemistry between the main leads is lovely as is the love story. =)
