Kihyun
As soon as I processed those words in my mind, my heart squeezed in a good way, and started to beat really fast. I could literally hear my own pulse. Shocked, I choked on the sip of rose that I was drinking. His eyes widens in surprise. Then, he got up to rub at my back, and gave me some water.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," I groaned.
"Oh. Wow. I didn't think I would get this kind of a reaction," he says sheepishly before sitting down again when he was sure that I stopped choking.
"Mhmm," I muttered as I drank some more water to calm down my irritated throat.
*text notification*
Out of habit, I glanced at my cellphone screen to see who it was. It was Jooheon.
Text Message from: JooheonyBee
[Enter password to read message]
"Do you need to get that," Hyunwoo asked.
"Hmm, oh no. It can wait," I said even though I was really happy that my 'baby' was looking for me, but I kept a lid on it since I was on a date after all. It's me time. Jooheon can wait.
"Oh okay," he says like he didn't like my answer.
For the rest of dinner, we got to know each other more on a personal level. Not to a large extent but it was pretty decent for a 'first date.' It was a bit disappointing that dinner didn't seem to last that long as we were having a good time and did not notice how fast time flew before we realized that we should leave the restaurant since we had been there for over an hour. But, if it lasted even longer, it would have been weird in way. How so? I cannot say for certain. Anyways, there is always tomorrow.
~at the front of Kihyun's apartment~
Once he parked the car, he tells me to stay put. I was confused as to why he asked me too, but relucantly obeyed. He comes around the car and opens the door for me while smiling like a dork.
"What a gentleman," I said while clapping.
"Why thank you, sir," he says in a tone that normally or stereotypically that butlers would use. I snorted and got out of the car. He locks the car and walks me to my door.
"Well, this is me," I said half heartedly.
"Yeah."
"Tonight was fun."
"Same for me too," he answers while fiddling with his car keys.
"Well, goodnight then," I said awkwardly and was about to unlock my door.
"Kihyun," he says.
"Yes," I asked and turned to look at him.
And when I did, he presses a soft kiss against my lips. I kissed him back, but he kept it short. He pulls away and says with a small smile, "Goodnight, Kihyun."
