~at the same time~
~outside of the bar~
After knocking back a few drinks and some water, I went outside of the bar to sober myself up a bit and partly to not watch Hoseok and Kihyun interact with each other. I sat down on the bench outside and watched the cars on the road past by or at least tried as everything was a bit blurry. Part of me wanted to go back in there and tear them two apart from each other. Another part of me just wanted to set fire to the world because they were too close to each other. Of course, it is understandable that they are so close to each other as they have dated and known each other for several years.
I sighed deeply and absentmindedly kicked a rock forward hitting a sleek cobalt blue motorcycle. I squinted to see that license plate number and realized that it was Hoseok's so I didn't worry about hitting it since Hoseok uses my car from time to time.
Once I felt just vaguely buzzed, I walked back into the bar and looked at the mess that was at the table. Seunghoon, Mingyu, and Changkyun were knocked out and hands grabbing onto a bottle of soju. Hyungwon was on top of the table in the center of the bar. Taekwoon was on stage drunkly singing Park Hyo Shin's 'Wildflower,' and surprisingly was not missing a single note. Yoongi had his face inside a glass vase fogging the inside with his breath. Jin was mumbling while having his head on the table. Junmyeon and Yixing were talking to each other in low voices. Hoseok was sleeping on Kihyun's shoulder and was clinging onto his arm while Kihyun leaned his head aganist Hoseok's head and was drinking some whiskey.
He looks at me and raises his glass slightly before continuing to drink again. I decided that it was time to shut this party down. Then, I walked over to Kihyun and tried to take his drink away, but he refused too.
"Noooo~ mine," he whines cutely.
"Come on, Kihyun. You're drunk already. Stop drinking."
"Ki Ki no drunk. I ish fineee~," he states while jabbing a finger at my chest and tried to give me a a glare but ended up just squinting.
"Kihyun," I said firmly and tried again. He bats away my hand and shifts in his seat which caused Hoseok to face plant onto Kihyun's lap. Feeling a bit peeved, I leaned Hoseok back in his chair and quickly took Kihyun's drink away right after. A bit delayed in responding, he reaches for the glass in my hand with both hands while wriggling his fingers like a baby does when you are holding a rattle in front of them.
"Gimme," he whines.
"No."
"Gimme."
"No."
"Meanie~," he slurs and does a sad attempt at pouting.
*chairs moving*
"Okay, kids. Time to go home," says Junmyeon with Yixing hugging him from behind.
"Oh, when did you come back, Hyunwoo-ssi" asks Yixing.
"Just now," I said before putting Kihyun's glass far away from him.
"Well, let's gather them up and load them into the car," Junmyeon says.
"Okay, Baobei~" Yixing sings.
I just nodded in response.
~fast forward twenty minutes~
When I came back into the bar to get Kihyun, I couldn't find him at the table.
*bang*
"Owie," whines a familar voice from under the table. I squatted down to see Kihyun holding onto the top of his head.
"Kihyun, come here," I said and clapped my hands so he would look at me. He looks at me through half lidded eyes and giggles.
"Woah, there are three of you," he slurs and attempts to crawl out from under the table. Once he was within reach, I pulled him up and tried to steady him on his feet but his legs wobbled causing him to tip toward the ground. I quickly caught him and slung his right arm over my shoulders. He looks at me through his bangs and mumbles incoherent words. Ignoring them, I princess carried him as it would be easier to get him to the car that way.
Kihyun squirms in response to being carried and then stays still when he figured out I wasn't going to let him down. When I got to my car, I realized that I probably should have unlocked my car first beforehand. I tried to get my key from my front jean pocket all the while carrying a hundred and something pounds.
*metal hitting the ground*
"Fuck," I grunted as I watched my keys drop to the ground. Then, I shifted Kihyun so that he had his arms around my neck and his legs around my waist. With effort, I managed to get my key and open the passenger side door. When I finally got Kihyun into the car, I groaned at the pain radiating along my spinal cord. It isn't easy to move two drunk adults.
After stretching a bit, I looked to see if the couple needed help getting the others into their car. They knew where most of the drunk lived.
~fast forward ten minutes~
"You good, hyung," I asked Junmyeon after helping him buckle in Taekwoon.
"Yeah, but getting these idiots home... Well anyways, I can handle it," he says from his car.
"Okay, then I will get going now before it gets any later," I said before walking back to my car.
Junmyeon clears his throat instead of verbally saying anything and left the parking lot. Yixing waited until I started my car before leaving too.
After dropping off the dead weight that was Hoseok at his flat, I realized that I didn't even know where Kihyun lived. I contemplated of calling Junmyeon to see if he knew where he lived, but thought better as he would be to busy with those in his car.
*soft snoring*
I looked over at the sleeping cotton candy hair man. The moonlight is highlighting his facial features making him look ethereal. As much as I wanted to reach out to brush a stray hair away from his face, I had to focus on getting to my place safely.
~Hyunwoo's flat~
*elevator bing*
Thinking better this time, I had Kihyun on my back and keys in my hand ready to open the door. When I was about to put in the key, Kihyun suddenly moves which caused us both to almost face plant onto the floor and for the keys to drop onto the floor in front of my door.
"Not again," I groaned and settled for punching in code to unlock my door instead.
*that sound that those kinds of door lock thingy makes which we all heard in dramas (A/N: Lols)*
I kicked my keys inside and closed the door behind me before making my way to my bedroom. When I got to the edge of my bed, I half threw half tossed Kihyun onto my bed. The pink haired male groans at the sudden drop and rolls onto his side so he was facing me. I took of his shoes. By some miracle, I also managed to get the blanket out from under him and covered him up. When I turned to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water to put on the nightstand next to him, I felt something holding me back. I looked down and saw a small hand holding onto the edge of my shirt tightly.
Surprised, I blinked a couple times to make sure I was not imagining this. Gingerly, I removed his hand from my shirt and tuck in his arm back under the blanket. Kihyun frowns a bit but does not wake up. I sat down on the edge and just watched him for a moment before going to bed myself and after changing into my pajamas.
"Sleep tight," I whispered before turning off the light.
A/N: Holy shit. I actually wrote a chapter that is 1,301 words. What has this world come too?
