Hyunwoo

~ten minutes later~

"Where did they even hide that damn plushie," Kihyun complains as he kicked a pile of sticks. He gasps and squats down keeping his back to me. I walked over to him and peered over his shoulder. He takes out a small wooden box from the ground and opened it. Inside was a small white sheep plushie with a note that read, "You found me! Please return me to my parents."

"I found it," Kihyun says loudly and stands up suddenly. He bumps into me, but didn't really notice. He turns and walks back to the couple who was currently leaning against each other.

"Oh, well you look at that, Baobei. They found our baozi," Junmyeon says to Yixing, who simply nodded. Kihyun hands the plushie back to them and wriggled his fingers at them.

"Well, where's the prize," Kihyun asks.

"Patience, Kihyun ah. Your prize is being able to sing as many songs as you want when we go to the karaoke bar tonight and a little something will be waiting for you back at the hotel" Junmyeon says with a wink.

"What," Kihyun shouts.

"Relax, I don't mean that...who do you take me for," Junmyeon laughs as Kihyun playful shoves him and then sat next to him.

"You did say that you would sing for me," I whispered to him after  I sat down next to them

"Psh,  I said maybe," Kihyun snorts.

"Come on," I said.

"...fine."

"Yay," Hyunwoo says in a childish tone.

~after dinner~

~El Dorado Bar~

"Let's get it," Seunghoon shouts as soon as we entered our room.

"It's going to be lit. I call dibs," Mingyu yells as he made his way to the karaoke machine.

"Hey, Kihyun has priority so ask him first," Junmyeon announced before he disappeared behind a door that was marked for employees only with Yixing.

"Man..., do you want to sing first, hyung," Mingyu asked me.

"Umm, I don't know what I want to sing,"  I said truthfully.

"Don't you want to show off to your muscle bound rock? Sing 'Western Sky,'" Minhyuk says. (A/N: I would really love it if Kihyun sings this song irl.)

"But, doesn't that song not match the occasion? We are supposed to have a festive atmosphere not emotional," I replied ignoring the first part of what he said.

"We haven't heard you sing that song in a long time," Jin says.

"Love to hear it again," says Taekwoon.

"...if you say so,"  I mumbled as I selected 'Western Sky by Lee Seung Chul.'  I sucked in a deep breath and look at the crowd who was staring in my direction until I saw Hyunwoo. He smiles at me and gives me a thumb up.

*bgm starts playing*

" In the western sky the glow of the sun sets....Now the you who have become sadness,  I don't think I'll be able to call out to you again... I try calling out to you once more. Even if I shout, your name that always returns after breaking in the air.  Without even the strength to bear it anymore, you discard me and leave," I sang while staring at the top half wall that  I was facing as I was not sure where I should look as the meanings of the lyrics is quite...heartbreaking and all. The crowd in front of me sways side to side as they sipped on their glasses of soju.

"A day for loving, a day for leaving...A day so sad the sky even cried...That I would leave with the rain, as if you were already aware...On days when it rains, I always yearn for you.  Waiting for the day when I see you again...The rainy sky, why does it sadden me so... With my scattered tears, I want to forget you. I want to go... I want to see you, I truly wanted to find you," I continued to sing but I poured more emotion into my voice as I got immersed in the lyrics. I closed my eyes as I sang the rest of the song until I got to the last line.

"But I love you...," I sang a bit lower and solemner than the original song for emphasis. Once I finished, my audience clapped for me while blinking away the tears that pooled in their eyes. Hyunwoo looked at me in awe. I blushed and quickly handed the mic to someone else before sitting down.

"Wow...," Hyunwoo says as he turned to look at me.

"I didn't do well, huh? I think my lisp made the song less touching," I said hastily.

"No. No. Not at all. You did wonderful," he assures me.

"You sure?"

"Of course, anything you do is beautiful to me," Hyunwoo says as Changkyun, Minhyuk, and Hyungwon started to sing, 'South Bound Train' by Kim Soo Hee.
