A/N: I decided to change the title because I thought it was a bit annoying to keep titling the chapters the same thing so many times.

Kihyun

At that word, I scoffed and looked out the window in the hopes that he would not be able to see me blush slightly. "I'm not cute," I mumbled before turning back to look in his direction. When our gazes met each other, I looked down at the table for some reason.

"...you are," he says.

"Shut up."

*silence*

The waiter then decided to grace us with his appearance saving me from an awkward moment. "Have you gentlemen decided what you would like to drink or eat?"

"Ummm, I think I will have the usual today, Xiumin-hyung," I said without looking at the menu to see if there was new items on the menu.

"Ahh, okay. So a Vienna coffee with extra cream,  and  Belgian waffles with raspberries and whip cream," he replies before writing it down on a note pad. "And what would you like ,sir?

"Can I get a Cafe Cubano and Beignets?"

"Of course. Your order should be ready in less than 15 minutes," Xiumin says before walking in the kitchen.

"Thank you," I said to him but I do not think that he heard me as I sort of missed the timing. Internally, I laughed at myself for that. Hyunwoo regards me weirdly to which I just stared back at him daring him to speak his mind.

"So...it's some nice weather we are having," he starts before biting his lip. I blinked rapidly and started to laughing out loud.

"Wow. What a way to start a conversation. So cliche."

"...."

"Yes, the weather is nice today."

"Do you come here regularly? Since you knew the waiter and have a 'usual.'"

"Yes, I do. The coffee here is wonderful. Oh and  Yixing-hyung, the guy who welcomed you in, is Junmyeon-hyung's fiance," I said while pointing at said man who smiled back at me.

"Oh really? Huh. Didn't know that Junmyeon-hyung was engaged."

"Ahh, that is probably because he doesn't wear his ring at work. He thinks that something will happen to it during work so he wears it on a necklace."

"Okay."

*silence again*

"Well, aren't you going to talk? You are the one who asked me out to this quote unquote date."

"...what made you want to become a chef," he asks before shifting in his seat.

"Mmm, there isn't a very specific reason, but I grew up watching my mother and grandmother cook with lots of love so it's in my blood," I said hesitantly as it started to sound a bit silly now that I said it out loud. He nods slowly and tries to think of something else to ask or talk about. I could literally see the wheels turning in his head. As I waited for him to say something, I started to pick at the jacket I was wearing with my left hand  and then rhythmically tapping my fingers on my leg.

A/N: A very awkward date no lie.
