~the next day~
The sun's rays shone through the curtains. Its intensity made me wake up from my slumber. When I became more alert of my surroundings, I realized that Hyunwoo is spooning me from behind and my head is tucked under his. I turned around in his hold and leaned back so I could see his face.
He mumbles something under his breath and huffs before pulling me closer to him. I chuckled softly and press a kiss to his cheek. I then thread my fingers through his soft almond brown hair before caressing the same cheek. To my surprise, he presses a kiss to my hand.
"Yah...how long have you been awake," I asked with blush lightly dusting my cheeks.
"Hmm...not long," he says without opening his eyes.
"Oh," I said and withdrew my hand. He grabs onto it and puts it back.
"Keep going," he says with his eyes slightly open and a soft smile on his face. So, I stroked his cheek with my thumb for a few seconds. Then, I felt a bit mischievous and pinched his cheek. His eyes shoot open and he lets out a small yelp. I laughed loudly at his response. He pouts which made me feel a bit guilty for pinching him. Right when I was about to say sorry, he starts to tickle me silly.
"Aish! Yah! St-oP! It TiCKLes," I said with much effort.
"Never. Who told you to pinch my cheek," he says with a wide smile on his face.
"Okay! OKAY! You win. I won't do it again," I wheezed.
"Mhmm," he says and kisses me on the lips when I glared at him.
"Sometimes, I wonder why I fell in love with you," I said jokingly.
"Because I'm charming?"
"Hmm, I think I have yet to see that," I laughed.
"Come on. I know you like the pick up lines I told you."
"Do I?"
"Yeah," he scoffs and crosses his arms across his chest.
"Hmm...I wonder about that."
Hyunwoo looks at me with fake hurt all over his face and places a hand over his heart for effect. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Then, what made you fall in love with me?"
"Wouldn't you like to know," I asked coyly.
