Kihyun
~after work~
~his room~
I cursed myself in my mind for punching Hyunwoo. It is all Hoseok's fault. He was the one who made me take self defense classes. I just punched him on reflex. But... I mean like who would let themselves be held down and kissed. Right? I bit the corner of my pillow and groaned. I punched him! The boss' son! Ughs! I am so getting fired! I looked at the hand that dealt the punch that is currently wrapped partly in athletic tape in mild distaste. "But he wouldn't do that to me right? That's what happens in dramas," I said out loud and rolled onto my side.
Sighing, I replayed what had happened earlier today in my mind and subconsciously touched my lips. I blushed at this recollection and mentally slapped myself for reacting like some poor female lead. "What should I do now? Should I start looking for a new job," I asked myself. Mochi hops onto my bed and snuggles into my side with his nose touching my chin. "What do you think, Mochi?" He shifts to get more comfortable and lets out a whine.
"Yes, I probably should apologize." He kicks at my sides and turned onto his side to get some tummy rubs. Absentmindedly, I started to rub his tummy and thought about what to do with the current situation.
"Mmmm, does this mean that he likes me? But, what if he hates me since I punched him?" Mochi lets out a sharp bark that almost sounded like laughter. I looked at him incredulously and shook my head at him.
"Who am I kidding? He probably was trying to mess with me for yelling at him for punching Hyungsik. Kihyun, he does not like you. Even if he did, you shouldn't because...," I trailed off. To this, Mochi jabs me in my stomach with his hind paw.
"Ow? Bad Mochi," I grumbled and got off the bed to which he whined because I stopped petting him.
"I should at least treat the area I hit," I said before looking through the medicine drawer in my nightstand to only find that I did not have anything for bruises.
"Weird," I mumbled before going to the clinic near my place.
~Eomma's Clinic~
*bell rings*
Just as I was about to walk into the clinic, I bumped into someone causing said person to drop whatever he was holding. Hurriedly, I picked up the items and put them in the bag before handing it back to the guy. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you," I stammered before looking up. To my surprise, I was staring right at Hyunwoo who had a bruise blooming on the side of his jaw. I gaped at the sight of the bruise.
"Holy shit. I really did a number on you, huh? I am so sorry. Here, let me treat it for you," I said before pushing him into the bench outside of the clinic.
"Kihyun...," he starts. I ignored him and rummaged through the bag for something I can use. I pulled out a bottle of ointment and just put some on my fingers as there was no cotton ball. Gently, I administered the ointment onto the currently un-moving Hyunwoo.
"It must have hurt, huh? Hoseok told me I pack quite the punch. I am so sorry. What should I do to make it up to you," I said after applying the ointment.
"Go on a date with me," he says while looking into my eyes with all the seriousness in the world.
