Ch. 111: When in Rome... (Part 3)

After being tickled to death for several minutes, he finally stops and squishes me to his chest.

"How can you be jealous because of this,"  I grumbled.

"How can I? How would you feel if your boyfriend wasn't paying attention to you on a trip that you planned," he half whispered half whined into my ear. 

"Well, if you put it that way...," I said after thinking about it for a minute. 

"Come on, we got a whole day ahead of us," he says as he suddenly pulls me off the bed. 

~the Colosseum~ 

"Hello, young man. Would you like to buy a have a piece of history to take home,"  a middle aged man asked me. 

"Umm, no. Thank you," I said with a tight smile as I thought is absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to the people who built the Colosseum for anyone to take it apart like this.  The man simply shrugs and goes off to ask some other tourist. After we bought tickets, we enter the premises and looked around at the amazing architecture in front of us. It was a bit difficult to get to different areas as there was a lot of people there and some of the stairs were not in great condition. 

"Let's take some photos," Hyunwoo says as a group just vacated a good spot. We quickly zigzagged through the crowd to get there before other people did. Luckily, no one else beat us to it. I took off the Cannon camera from around my neck and tried to angle the camera right to take a picture of us, but the top half of Hyunwoo's face wasn't in it.

He laughs softly before taking the camera from me and holds it at the right angle. "Kimchi~," he sings to signal that he was about to take a picture. 

*click*

While he was deciding what angle to take would be better, I hesitantly pulled him down and kissed him on the cheek.

*click* 

In response, Hyunwoo grabs me by my chin and kisses me hard before snapping more pictures.

*click 3x*

I gasped as I was caught off guard. "Yah," I whined as I overheard an old lady talking about how kids these days don't know any common decency. 

"Don't act like you don't like it," he smirks.

"How vulgar," I said in a joking tone. He shakes his head and holds my hand.

"Only for you," he whispers.

~after visiting the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill~

"My feet hurts," I moaned in pain as the soles of my feet are hating me right now. I bent my right leg to take off my shoe in order to massage it when Hyunwoo suddenly squats in front of me. "What are you doing," I asked out of curiosity. 

"Hop on," he says without looking back.

"No. It's okay. Just need to rest for a minute or two," I answered as I was a bit flustered. Then, he reaches back, grabs my hand, and pulls me forward.

"Oof," I said as I fell onto his broad and muscular back. He stands up quickly causing me to subconsciously wrap my legs around his waist as if it was second nature. 

"Hold on tight," he says in a low tone that made me feel flustered, but loved. So, I did and pressed the side of my face to his nape. I didn't need to see to know that he was smiling. 

"Pabo," I muttered under my breath and snuggled closer thoroughly enjoying his warmth.

"Hmph, I love you too," he replies.

Q:  When and how did you find out about Monsta X?

A: I first discovered them some time in 2016 through some memes from Monsta X Right Now. Kind of a weird way to start stanning a group, but things happen. Lol.

Fun fact #1: Kihyun is my bias and Hoseok is my bias wrecker.

Fun fact #2: My favorite Monsta X songs are 'Lost in the Dream' and 'Stuck.' 

Fun fact #3: This fanfic was originally planned to be around 30-50 chapters. But, you all motivated me to make it longer. 

Fun fact #4: 90% of this fanfic is unedited and posted right after I finish writing each chapter.

Fun fact #5: I have been writing this fanfic as I go aside from the general outline I had in the beginning.

Fun fact #6: It has been almost a year since I started writing this.
