Chapter 38: Blood

(Megan POV)

'Taurus, Capricorn!'

A slightly panicked voice could be heard from down the hall, causing the two scientists in question to turn around in confusion. Leo stepped into the room we were in to get out of the way. A familiar white and pink haired woman was sprinting towards the two males, stopping only a few feet away to catch her breath.

'Virgo? What is it?' Taurus asked her, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.

Pastel stood up straight and gulped. Whatever she was going to say it couldn't be good, not for them at least.

'It- It's Pisces! He's been found out and is at the police station!'

'What?!'

Pisces? Isn't that... Leven!

Capricorn turned to my family and I with a glare, his eyes fixing directly on me as he spoke 'It seems your friends aren't as ignorant as we thought...'

'Well of course not,' I smirked 'You think they'd take the disappearance of us three lightly?'

Capricorn growled 'Difficult b*tch...'

'THE F*CK DID YOU CALL ME-'

'Megan!' Luke grabbed my arm before I could lunge at that grass-bun pr*ck. I grumbled.

Leo, who had been silent this whole time spoke up. And although he looked mad, he had a tad of relief in his eyes 'What do we do, now?'

'Well, we can't do anything about Pisces...' Pastel frowned 'We can only hope he won't rat us out to the police...'

'Right, and the tests? They were entrusted to Pisces for a reason.' Capricorn questioned.

'That's up to the boss to decide.'

The three began to discuss what their last plan of action, while my family all exchanged glances.

'You look happy.' Laura mumbled once she saw my smirk had grown.

'Oh yeah, I hated Leven. And now that I won't have to be around him 24/7, it's made this whole experience a little better.' I snickered.

'Wow. Ain't she lovely?' Luke's voice was laced with sarcasm. Mom looked like she was giggling, but no sound came out. Poor dear...

'Well, what we can do is lengthen the time each of us have to watch the kids, that'll give the rest of us enough time to get everything ready for the procedure. Since Pisces was a talented boy, he could get it done in a matter of minutes but-- IS THE YOUNGEST BLEEDING?!'

'Huh?' I snapped my head towards the scientists in surprise, before looking all over myself to see if there was any blood on me. And behold, red liquid was staining the fabric of the white jumpsuit I was made to wear. Of course, I began to panic.

'Why am I bleeding there?!' I shrieked 'There's no possible way it could be a period, those can't happen during pregnancy right?!'

'Leo, get her to the infirmary!' Capricorn ordered. He was also rather pale from shock, as was everyone else in the room.

Leo obeyed, grabbing my upper arms for support and beginning to lead me out of the room. Thing is I didn't even make it past the door. I passed out without warning.

(Luke POV)

We saw Megan pass out, which meant Leo had to use all his strength to catch her and keep her off the ground. He cursed under his breath as he lifted her up bridal style.

'Sh*t, Megan!' I yelled, scrambling to my feet and rushing towards my sister. However I stopped in my tracks once Taurus pulled out my disciplinary cuff remote, and held it up so I could see.
