Ignore Them! [Part 2/2]

Infinite's Pov:
I'm wondering why this Red Wolf is helping me. I put him through the worst experience ever, what did I do to deserve this? "Okay, remember that we'll both be holding hands and we'll just start talking to them!" Gadget whispered as we hid behind a building.

I nodded and I immediately held his hand while blushing at bit. He started to lead me towards Sonic and Shadow who finally looked at us. "Hey Sonic and Shadow, how are ya?" Gadget asked smiling innocently. "Nothing much but um...are you two dating?" Sonic asked facing towards me. "Uh yeah! We started dating a few days ago after we met." I responded a bit nervously.

"Hmph, that's nice. A newly found couple." Shadow replied still crossing his arms. I could see him smile which to me, I wish I can see his smile everyday. "Yeah Shads, it's nice to see people falling in love. Considering the fact that actually we've dated for two months now!" Sonic exclaimed hugging Shadow. "You faker...I told you not to tell anyone!" Shadow yelled at him.

"What! They're dating! Nothing bad will happen, sorry guys but we have to go!" Sonic said holding onto Shadow's arm. "Yeah whatever, bye." Shadow added in as they walked away. "Sorry Infinite guess we couldn't do anything..." Gadget said letting go of my hand. I just sighed, feeling a little heartbroken but not too much.

I wonder why since didn't I have a huge crush? "Don't worry, you'll find love again soon." Gadget replied hugging me. I blushed and flinched to which he let go. "S-sorry I didn't mean to! I just-um..." He stuttered playing with his fingers. It's quite adorable to see him embarrassed wait he's always adorable! Do I have a crush on him? Was that the reason I felt a bit heartbroken but not too much?

"Sorry I'll just go!" Gadget exclaimed. I grabbed his arm as he was about to leave. "Huh? I-Infinite?" He blushed while looking confused. "No...stay with me." I said looking at him. "Maybe we can go on a picnic later today?" I asked looking down. "L-Like a date?" He asked walking closer to me. I nodded and I could feel Gadget kiss my mask. "I'd love to!" He replied blushing. "Great! Um see you later." I responded as I walked away.

He couldn't tell but I was smiling. Maybe things didn't end up bad after all.
