Gadget's Pov:
I had just won a battle against Infinite but it seems I didn't give him much damage. "Hm, you've must have trained a bit if you managed to defeat me." Infinite said while flying. "Yeah and I showed that to you just now!" I exclaimed. Even though I might have defeated him, who knows what he'll do next. "Let's make a deal..." Infinite said as he lowered to the ground. He walked towards and I went back into my defense mode. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I'll let you keep that little Phantom Ruby Prototype if you go on a date with me." He explained which made me startled. "A date!?" I exclaimed. He just nodded, I thought about which decision I should choose. "Ugh, fine!" I exclaimed a bit annoyed. "Good, meet me in Green Hill Zone at 4 in the afternoon." He said as he began to fly and went somewhere. Right now it was 3 PM so I had one hour hopefully Sonic and his friends won't notice me.

I reached Green Hill Zone and started to search for Infinite. He was no where to be found maybe he's late. I decided to sit around and wait. I picked one small red rose and that's when Infinite appeared before me. "Glad you came, it means a lot." He said as he lowered to the ground. "So what, we're having a picnic?" I asked as he did set up for a pinic. He just nodded, once he was done we both sat on the blanket. "What is that in your hand?" He asked as he took my hand. "I-It's a flower called a r-rose." I responded trembling a bit. "Don't worry I won't hurt you." He said noticing my trembling. I blushed a bit as he began to touch the flower while still grabbing my hand. "Gadget!" Someone yelled out. "Sonic?" I asked myself. He immediately appeared right in front of us. "Gadget what the heck are you doing here with Infinite!?" He asked pretty angry. "I-I uh..." I was at a loss for words. "Did...you betray us!?" Sonic asked while yelling. I just hid behind Infinite at this point. "Leave the wolf alone. This is just a deal, if he went on a date with me he can keep the prototype." Infinite explained. "Oh...well then, Rookie come on! Meet me at the base!" Sonic exclaimed and then ran. "Thanks Infinite.." I said. "It's no-" I stopped him mid sentence as I kissed his mask. I could tell he was blushing since he was warming up. "I better go. Bye Infinite, maybe we can go another date?" I asked shyly. "I would like that." He responded.
