Rookinite One-Shots

First Date

[A/N: This tied with my book, 'Corrupted Lies' since both of them had secret dates. This was the first one]

Gadget was waiting sliently for his boyfriend to arrive but, he was nervous as Sonic could try to find him. He escaped for the Resistence's base to have a date with his new lover. A lover that no one will allow him to be with. Infinite. The Jackal who started a war and is currently sided with Eggman. Infinite was Gadget's long lost childhood friend and seeing again after beating him up, literally broke him. Infinite realized he was about to kill his one true friend, a Wolf who happened to be his crush. After, explaining who he is and why he is doing what he is doing, Gadget agreed to date him.

Except it was more like a deal, Gadget remembered the deal as he waited for Infinite. He promised to never leave him that way, Infinite wouldn't do any harm to Sonic. Gadget's one idol that he wants to impress by fighting along side him. "I see that you actually escaped." Infinite's voice was heard and Gadget turned to the direction of it but, saw no one. "You are close to me but, you are looking in the wrong direction. Put your head in the clouds." Infinite stated, Gadget processed what the Jackal said and looked up. There Infinite was flying, Gadget sighed and leaned up against the wall.

"So what do you wanna do?" Gadget said as he crossed him arms, he wasn't sure that he was making the right choice. Sure, he had a crush on his childhood friend but, now during a war Gadget knew Infinite caused? "Let's talk. Talking might help strength this relationship." Infinite replied, turning upside down as he floated above Gadget. "You look like Spiderman in that pose." Gadget noted and giggled at how Infinite's face was close to his. "You mean how he did this pose and kissed the girl he saved. And had a crush on for a few days now." Infinite explained, smiling at the reaction his new lover was making. "I don't wanna call you 'Infinite', it doesn't seem fair." Gadget stated and held Infinite's head with his hands.

"Well Rookie, remember my name?" The Jackal asked, the Wolf shook his head as he never thought about his old childhood friend for years now. "You disappeared a long time ago, your memory just erased over the years." The Wolf explained, he looked shy as he turned away. "It's Ira and you must be Mary Jane." The Jackal said, he noticed Gadget's blushing and how he gasped. "M-Mary Jane? Then you must be Peter Parker. The one who saved me from those men." Gadget said, he looked at Ira who nodded. Gadget slowly leaned in and kissed Ira who kissed back, the two felt just like the two movie characters. They finally figured out how in love those two characters might be and how the kiss felt. Gadget felt reassured and calm while Ira felt stronger and in love. Most importantly, they just realized how in love they are.

"Well then Peter, I will date you." Gadget mumbled, he giggled while talking. "That's great, Mary Jane." Ira replied, leaning in for a kiss again. The two finally started to truely feel like a couple that is until the war ended and things turned strange.
