[A/N: I saw this fanart and instantly fell in love with it. I tried my best on this one and tried to stay true to the original movie as well]

Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly

Gadget stared at the Jackal in front of him. The suit he was wearing was as beautiful as the yellow dress he wore. "May I have this dance?" The Jackal asked as he took out his hand which Gadget grabbed. The Wolf never felt more happier as he was about to dance with the Jackal of his dreams. He was suddenly held prisoner by him but, slowly discovered a soft side to him. They both slowly fell in love and the Jackal asked Gadget if he wanted a ball and to dance with him. Which Gadget nodded to.

Just a little change
Small, to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared

Ira tensed a little as the Wolf in front of him grabbed his hand. Ira was still surprised that the Wolf even agreed to dance with the Jackal who imprisioned him. Over time, he started falling in love with the red wolf. Now here he was, holding hands, his other at the wolf's waist while his partner's hands was on his shoulder. The Wolf knew how to dance and was about to show Ira how to. They slowly started to dance to the gentle voice singing and the instruments which were playing beautifully.

Ever just the same

And ever just as sure
As the sun will rise

They both started dancing to the song playing, neither of them stopped staring into each other's eyes. They didn't stop smilling as they danced. Gadget slowly put his head on Ira's shoulder who was flustered but, looked at his servents with a smile. His servents looked at him with a smile and a thumbs up telling him he was doing good.

As they danced more and more, they slowly focused on each other. Gadget focused on where Ira was stepping to while Ira focused on Gadget's eyes. In fact, they were so focused they didn't notice the room dim a bit as Ira dipped Gadget. They looked into each other's eye even more as Ira slowly lifted him then put him down. They didn't notice anyone around them anymore as if their love for each other blocked the world.

Learning you were wrong

Gadget smiled once again at Ira who showing him the way of where to dance. They were so happy to dance with each other and just be together. Ira's servents quitely cheered for them with a proud smile on their faces. If those two did confess then the spell will be broken. Although, Ira didn't even think about the curse just about Gadget and how pretty he looked.

The piano which played the beutiful melody completely fit with the song and how they danced. Ira and Gadget still danced with how the music went but, that didn't mean they couldn't stop staring right? In fact, they didn't realize which direction they danced in. The staring kept being different as the song almost came to an end. Now, they stared at each with pure love and affection.

The song came to an end as they pulled away. Each one bowed as a 'thank you for lovely dance'. Ira took out his arm and Gadget put his hand around it. They both walked towards the patio a bit out of breath. They were still shocked that dancing could bring them closer. They didn't mind though because that's they wanted. To be close to each other as possible.

[A/N: As you can tell I used the orginal and live-action version for a reference. Also, don't comment 'that theory' and you know what theory I am talking about because that just ruins the moment.]
