Infinite's Pov:
Another rainy day of repairing the world after the war that happened. Another rainy day that's filled with hateful and weary glares at me. Another rainy day of me being a prisoner of the resistance. Another rainy day where I get to see him again.

I was walking through the construction sites with a umbrella in my hand. The occasional glares I receive from the workers and citizens which I already got used to. "They're nice people!" A phrase Sonic once told about these people replayed in my head. "Nice people...they hate me. I wonder if he meant the friendship between him and them." I mumbled to myself.

I saw a familiar wolf helping the workers pick something up. "Thanks Rookie!" The worker said waving. "No problem. ACHOO" The red wolf responded or sneezed. It seemed like he was catching a cold from just wearing a scarf. "Gadget is such moron but he's my moron." I chuckled to myself. As much as I wanted to date him, I should probably confess another day.

I began to walk towards him and he didn't seem to notice. I saw him shiver and rub his arms to get some warmth. "So c-cold." Gadget stuttered, his breath becoming visual to see. I put my umbrella under him and he looked at me. "I-Infinite?" He stuttered again and I looked away. I was blushing since I'm so close to him.

"T-Thank you." He said while sneezing again. "It was nothing." I responded putting my arm around him. I felt him flinch and his face got warmer. "Let me give you some warmth, I did hear a hug could fill you up with body heat." I said and I felt hug my arm. I heard him giggle and I just sighed. My hand and his hand carrying the umbrella over us.

"I'm gonna get you sick!" Gadget exclaimed looking at me. "I don't care, let's just head back home." I replied and he just smiled. This is by far, the best walk I ever had. Even in the rain, I can still light from the sun.
