"Hey bro, you okay? You look nervous." I asked as I looked at my older brother. "Hm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Well...actually, I'm just a little nervous today." Gadget responded as he continued to focus on what was playing on the television. "Oh, you mean your first date with your new boyfriend?" I questioned. "Yeah, that. I know we've all known one another since childhood, but...now, that we're boyfriends. It's so nerve-wracking to think about. What if I say something wrong? What if I do something insensitive? There are so many things that can go wrong!" Gadget exclaimed as his voice kept getting louder.

"Gadget, bro, chill," I exclaimed as I grabbed his hands. "How?! I'm just so scared! After all, this date means a lot to me." Gadget admitted as his tone went back to its normal volume. "I mean, you said it yourself. You and he have known one another for so long, he knows and loves everything about you. I'm sure this first date means a lot to him as it does to you, bro." I reassured him. I've never seen Gadget so nervous before, he's usually so calm and collected.

Guessing he fell in love because he loved these new emotions and wanted to share them with his new lover. "Yeah, you're right. Plus that actually makes...a lot of sense! Thanks a lot, Gears. I really needed to hear that." Gadget spoke, giving me a small smile. "No problem though, you should probably get ready. Your date is gonna start soon after all." I replied, turning off the television. "Ah, you're right once again! Thanks for reminding me!" Gadget exclaimed as he went upstairs to get ready. I just chuckled at the nervous and awkward behavior he was showing.

Though I started to think about it. Gadget is showing off a lot of nervous energy and I don't want him to make a fool out of himself during the date. And hell, if his date makes fun of him for it, then...well, I'll make him regret it! Somehow. I just don't want my big brother to get hurt during his date. "Hm..." I mumbled as I started to think of all the ways to make sure his date was going well. "Oh!" I exclaimed as soon as I thought of something. I remembered this video I watched and it's a perfect idea!

"Sure hope that Gadget won't mind an uninvited guest coming to the date," I mumbled under my breath as I went upstairs to my room. I locked my bedroom then I went toward my drawers and closet to look for good clothes for the occasion. "Gears? Where are you?" Gadget exclaimed from the hallway. "Oh, uh, I'm just gonna take a quick shower." I lied as I walk toward my locked bedroom door. "Oh, okay! I'm heading out for my date! See you later tonight!" Gadget exclaimed as I heard his footsteps disappear down the stairs.

"Alright, have fun! Call me if you need anything! Bye!" I exclaimed back as I unlocked my door to do so. Gadget just made some type of sound of agreement before he opened the front door and locked it as he left. I nodded to myself as I simply closed the bedroom door behind me. I walked toward my window to check if Gadget already got picked up. I noticed Gadget waving at the driver of a black car before he entered it and they both drove away. "Alright! Let's see what I have..." I mumbled as I went toward my drawers and closet.

- Time Skip -

"Is there anything you would like, sir?" The server asked. "Hm? Oh yeah, uh, just give me a glass of water and some chili dogs." I ordered though I didn't really care. "Of course, that'll be out soon, sir." The server replied as he left with my menu. I nodded and continued to focus on the couple in front of me. "Alright...everything seems fine from my perspective just...keep checking on them," I mumbled as to not attract attention to myself. "Oh, Ira, you're a lot funnier today than usual!" Gadget exclaimed before going into another laughing fit.

I smiled knowing that Ira was doing everything to make Gadget feel comfortable and happy. "Well, you know, you gotta be on your best game for your special someone," Ira replied before giving him another wink. "Oh, and very flirtatious today as well." Gadget replied in a tone that already made me know he was smirking. "This is kinda gross and cringy to look at, but whatever. This is for my bro's sake." I mumbled as I cringed at the lovey-dovey comments being thrown at one another. "Hm, thank you for asking me here tonight, Ira. It means a lot to me, you know. I've never felt so many emotions in one setting." Gadget explained as he took Ira's hand in his.

"Yeah, well, I've always wanted to share everything with you. I want to make emotions stir up between us. So, no problem, babe." Ira explained, giving a genuine smile to Gadget. "Hm...what a happy couple they are. I think they'll be okay together." I replied as my food arrived and finally was put in front of me. I noticed as their food arrived and was placed in front of them.

Yet, instead of thanking the servers or digging into their food already, they just stared at one another in the most lovey-dovey stare I have ever seen. I know they're happy all, but seriously, they should at least eat. That's when I decided to grab my phone and opened my messenger app...

I looked up and removed my black hoodie as Gadget turned just in time. "Gears?! What are you doing here?!" Gadget asked, blushing clearly in embarrassment. "Just wanted to check if you were enjoying yourself..." I replied before I went back to eating.

"Oh, hey Gears! We're doing A-Okay!" Ira exclaimed and I smiled.
