Tiny cracks
Break the mask
And what really is behind shows.
Tiny cracks
That hid in the mold
Grow cold
As the air whistles through them.
Tiny cracks
In a person,
Breaking a friendship,
A love,
And creating a heartbreaking mask.
Hidden behind these
Tiny cracks is a person
No one has ever seen.
Hidden behind these
Tiny cracks holds
A place of pain
And yet relief.
A relief
That shows these tiny cracks
Don't always have to last.
But for now,
These tiny cracks are still there
And are working on breaking the mold.
Tiny cracks...
Tiny cracks...
I'll promise they'll leave
You as a human
With a heart.
Thank the tiny cracks
For finally breaking.
