No one notices
The turned down heads
Or the fake smiles.
No one notices
When people are gone
And no one asks them
Why they weren't there.
Are they okay?
Where were they?
Do they need someone to talk to?
But no one cares.
Notice the heartbroken,
Notice the silently shed tears
Because they might be shed for you.
Notice the fake smiles
So that you can create real ones.
Notice the sighs
That blow white smoke into the cold air.
Notice so you can heal.
Act before it's too late.
Notice before it becomes you.
