The feeling of your arms
Around me tight.
I don't want to forget
The way you looked at me,
Like there was something beautiful in me
When I had been told otherwise.
I don't want to forget
The happy bubbles
That filled my body
When you did...
Anything.
I don't want to forget
How much I loved you...
And I think,
Still do.
"I don't know you
But I want you."
I can hear it in my brain.
"Falling slowly,
Eyes that know me..."
I can feel you on my lips.
"And I can't go back."
This was the moment
I knew
I loved you.
"Falling slowly,
Sing your melody.
I'll sing along..."
I won't forget it,
I can see it so clearly.
It's like the music connected us,
Like holding hands
Or touching lips.
It made us have something
Even you admitted
Felt so much different
Than everyone else.
Darling,
Tell me that's still there.
Tell me you still love me.
Tell me that you'll hold me.
Tell me that I mean something to you,
More than anyone else does.
Because I don't want to forget,
I don't want to regret
What might have been,
What should have been
If the world was a better place.
Darling,
I don't want to forget us
Or the memories will hurt us.
I don't want to forget you...
And I don't want to let go.
