Chapter 12 Mutual understaning

Ross' pov

Couldnt sleep last night......you might ask why, well i think you know why, laura kissed me. She actually kissed me.....

She broke my rule on i dont kiss on the first date and we werent even dating. But for some reason i didnt care.

Think of it this way. Count the number of girls i dated and multiply my feelings for them by 100. Thats how much feelings i have for laura....

I was just staring at the ceiling and i spotred laura drinking coffee on her balcony,

I immediately got up and opened my glass doors and gave her a smile.

Ross:good morning.

She then looks at me and smiles

Laura: good morning to you to.

We both leaned on our balconies and just stared at each other.

It was kinda awkward........strange, i never get awkward when it comes to girls. But laura hasnt made our status yet. Im not sure what was last night about....., are we a couple now?....i hope.

Ross:soooooo, wanna hang out today, like the mall?

Laura: hmmmm well we only have one homework on monday, soooo sure!

Ross:really?! Awesome!

Laura:just let me get ready, pick me up in a few minutes at my front door ;)

I just nodded and she turns around walking back to her room with her hips swaying again. Wow..

I then went back in my room and i changed into something simple yet nice.

I then walked downstairs and was greeted by riker and rocky running around the house and they stopped when they saw me.

Rocky:whoa, whats with the get up?

Riker:(he groans) please dont tell me its another girl you met at the mall parking lot.

Ross:what?! No! Im going out with laura today...

Riker:oh ok....you're going out with laura......WAIT! YOU'RE GOING OUT WITH LAURA?!?!?! (He smiles)

Ross:well technically we are going out.

Rocky:huh? Wait so you're dating?

Ross:welll.......im not really sure yet.

Riker:(he chuckles) you're not sure if you're dating?

Ross:well she kissed me last night a-...

Riker/rocky: SHE KISSED YOU?!?!

Laura's pov

I just finished putting on a cute shirt and shorts. Wow i havent worn this since last last last month. I dont go out often.

I then went downstairs and waited for ross as i sat on the couch with vanessa

Vanessa:uhhh what are you wearing? (She giggled teasingly)

Laura:ummm clothes.

Vanessa: you havent worn that since summer

Laura:well ross asked me out today.

Vanessa:WHAT?

Laura:its not a date, its only hanging out.

Vanessa: but what? Are you two a thing or something?

Laura:wellll........i dont know...

Vanessa:what? Why dont you know?

Laura:some.....things happened last night and well...we havent talked about it yet.

Vanessa:fine but i wanna know what happened last night.

I then gulped. I cant really tell her that "hey i kissed ross" she will freak out.

Then the door bell rang

Laura:oops thats ross gotta go! Bye!

I then ran to the door

Vanessa:wait i just wanna kn-

I then got out of the house before she could finish her sentence.

As i closed the door and out of my house ,ross chuckles

Ross: vanessa annoying you?

Laura:ugh, you have no idea.

He continues chuckling

Ross:come on.

He then reaches out his hand and i took it.

This is soo weird, im not sure whats our status.

We got in his car and we drove off.

Me and ross are at the food court eating fries,

Ross:soo after 5 years what made you finally saying yes to go hang out with me? (He smirked)

Laura:well.....we only have a few homework.

Ross:are you sure thats the main reason? ;)

I just rolled my eyes playfully.

Laura:yes, it is :P

Ross:are you sure it doesnt have anything to do on what happened last night? ;)

I then blushed.

Laura:about that......

Ross: wanna talk about it?

Laura:yeah.....ummm..i dont really understand .....us.

Ross:i dont understand it either, but i like it. (He smiles)

Laura:y-yeah....me to...

Ross: so do you like hanging out with me so far?

Laura:(i giggled) you're actually really fun to talk to. (I smiled)

Ross:why thank you milady.

Laura: soo i heard you're losing your reputation in the streets cuz you stop hitting on girls (i smirked)

Ross:meh its alright.......my special girl is worth sacrifices. ;)

I then blushed and smiled

Laura:thats sweet....., i like that you're doing this all for me.

Ross: you proud of me?(he asks cutely)

Laura:yes i am (i giggled)

Ross: well you should be. Cuz my grades are getting higher.

Laura:and you're not hitting on other girls anymore (i smiled)

Ross:sooo does that make me an ex-player?

I gighled

Laura:i think soo....and i hope soo....

We then stared at each other while smiling dreamily.

Ross:laura.....

He broke the silence we had.

Laura:what? (I smiled)

Ross:im your dream guy........................arent i? (He smirked)

I giggled

Laura:y-yeah.....you are.
