Connor was sat on the ground as Liv slammed the door in his face. His LED changed colors rapidly as his mind ran through any possibility of why she would be mad at him. This morning, he hadn't said much to her because he and Hank had to leave. Last night, the only thing he could think of was when he told her she should stay home from work for a few days. She didn't seem mad about it at the time, and he didn't think she would be this upset over that. The only thing he could think to do was call Hank.

"Hey."

"Hank, I think I've messed up really bad."

"Put the corpse on ice, I'll be there in a minute."

"What? No, it's about Liv and me!"

"Jesus Christ, androids can't get humans pregnant can they?"

"NO! What do you think we do when you're not around?"

"I think the answer to that is pretty clear now. Honestly, with you, I don't know what to expect," Hank said, "Stop making me guess and just tell me what's going on."

"Can you just meet me here at her apartment?"

"Sure thing."

Connor hung up and waited on Hank. Liv had apparently heard him outside her apartment and yelled at him once again to leave. However, he didn't. He stood himself up and waited on Hank. Occasionally, he would knock on the door, but would just be yelled at.

Finally, Hank arrived and said, "So what happened?"

"I got here and knocked on the door. She basically said she hated me, so I asked if we could talk. Then she opened the door and punched me," Connor explained.

"Why is she mad at you?"

"I don't know, that's the problem! I've done nothing wrong!"

Hank decided to knock on the door, "Hey, Liv, it's me."

"Go away!"

"Liv, can you let me in? Connor won't come in, just me."

"No, just leave me alone! You think I'm useless and needy anyway, both of you do! Just leave!"

"Neither of us think that, Liv."

"Really? Because that's exactly what Connor said to me!"

"You said that?" Hank turned to Connor.

"No!"

"He's a liar! He tricked both of us, Hank. He wasn't sent to investigate with us, they sent him here because they thought I knew where the deviants were hiding. I was just to stupid to see it. He told me today!" Liv opened the door.

"That's not true, I was sent by CyberLife to investigate deviants. Who ever told you that was lying, Liv."

"You're such an ass, Connor. You told me that when you got back from Kamski's."

"We just got back from Kamski's. I didn't say that to you," Connor said.

"Well it sure did look like you," She said as she began to shut the door, "Leave, now. I really don't want to see you, and you made it pretty clear that you didn't want to see me either."

Connor kept the door open as she tried to shut it. Hank added in, "Kid, Connor's been with me all day. I don't know who you saw, but it couldn't have been him. He's right, he just got here."

"Whatever, I don't care if you believe me, but I heard what I heard. It slapped me, insulted me, and wouldn't get off of me when I told it to stop. Connor is just a machine, and I see that now. Both of you need to leave before I make you leave."

"We better go, Connor. I'll see you at work tomorrow, Liv."

"Unfortunately," Liv said, and closed the door.

"I don't know what to do, Lieutenant. I didn't do any of those things," Connor turned to Hank as they began to walk out of the building.

"I know. Just give her space right now, we'll find a way to prove it wasn't you."

"CyberLife has been talking about replacing me for a while now, I'm afraid that's what's happening."

"You would've already be taken away if that's what's going on, but you might be right about another Connor being the cause of all this. Wait, she's part andriod now, can she do that thing that you used to find those deviants at the Eden Club?"

"I'm not sure, but I can try tomorrow. I doubt she will let me close enough to her to do so right now."

"Good call," Hank said as they exited the building. Noah was entering the building just as they left. He didn't seem happy to see them, and Connor suspected Liv told him about what happened. As they passed him, Noah purposely bumped his shoulder against Connor. The andriod straightened his tie and walked away, hearing Noah mumble something under his breath. Despite not hearing the exact words, Connor was fairly certain it wasn't anything he wanted to be called.

He didn't like things being this way, but he dealt with it for now. She needed space, and that's what he would give her; even if it upset him. Connor wanted her to be happy, and if that meant spending a few nights at Hank's house or the police station, he was okay with it.
