As soon as they got back to Liv's apartment, Connor changed into one of the outfits they bought earlier that day. As she waited for him to get dressed, Liv went to her mailbox down the hall. It was mainly bills, but one was addressed to her and Connor, which seemed strange.

She walked in and set the mail on the kitchen table. Connor was fastening the last button on the pale blue shirt he had picked out earlier and didn't notice her walking in.

"Damn!" she said, excited for him.

He turned a little, "So you like it?"

"Well that depends, do you?"

He turned to the mirror, pondering at his appearance for a moment, "Yeah, I think I do."

"In that case, I love it," she said and kissed his cheek before returning to the kitchen table. She sifted through the mail for a moment before finding the unusual letter she noticed earlier.

"This one's for you and me," she said to Connor. The two sat down on the couch and read the letter together. The front cover had a picture of two rings together.

"Who is getting married?" Connor asked.

"I have no idea," she said as she opened the card.

You're invited to the wedding of Noah Thomas and Liam Dasher. We hope you can attend our wedding in Malibu, California on 1/14/39.

"Noah's getting married?" Liv said in confusion, "I didn't even know he was engaged!"

Sorry it's so late notice, but I didn't really know you when it was planned out. Sorry for not telling you until now, but it would mean the world to me if you and Connor could come.

-Noah

Liv read the side note, still shocked at the news, "Noah can't get married! That's crazy!"

"Why? As long as they're both consenting adults and get a legal marriage license, I don't see anything wrong with it," Connor said.

"Noah's 18! Who knows how long he's even known this guy? Getting married that young is just a bad idea, he's barely out of high school!"

"You seem stressed."

"Please don't analyze me right now," she said in frustration.

"I'm not, but I can tell that you are," Connor said, "If this man makes Noah happy and they're really in love, I think it's fine for them to get married, despite their age."

"Maybe you're right. I've just seen marriages crumble apart because of people rushing into things. I want better than that for Noah," Liv explained.

"Maybe they won't make the same mistakes. I don't know Noah well, but I don't think he would have rushed into marriage if it wasn't something he really wanted," Connor said.

"You're right. This wedding is in a few weeks, and on the other side of the country. I don't even have a dress to wear, and I don't even know this Liam guy!" Liv realized. Her phone began to ring, she picked it up to see who was calling, "Just the person I needed to talk to."

"Hey, Noah."

"Yeah, we just got your invitation."

"Of course we're going! I wouldn't miss it for the world, but I'd like to at least meet him before."

"That sounds perfect. We'll see you then, bye," Liv said and then hung up, turning back to Connor.

"Noah wants us to go out with him and Liam, as a sort of double date. It'll give us the chance to get to know him too," she laid her head on his lap as she messed with the buttons on his shirt.

"That sounds pleasant."

"Today's been crazy, but it's been really nice," Liv said as she looked up at Connor, who looked just as happy as he did the day androids were freed, "And it's nice seeing you out of that uniform. You look like you now, if that makes sense."

"I think it does. I feel more like myself."

Liv and Connor sat in peaceful silence for a moment when she looked up at him again, seeing his LED give off the calming blue light. He really didn't need it now, no andriod did. However, he still hadn't taken his out. Liv wondered if he even wanted to get rid of it.

"Is everything alright, Liv?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You were staring at me," he said as he raised his eyebrows in curiosity.

"Am I not aloud to look at you now?" she grinned, "It's just because you're cute."

"Do you think cute is a good thing?"

"Yes, cute is good," Liv said, earning a wide smile from Connor, "Hey, do you want to take out your LED?"

"I hadn't really thought about it. I guess I can now, can't I?" he said.

"Only if you want to."

"I do," he said, and Liv went into her room and opened one of the drawers in her dresser. She grabbed the pair of scissors she had used to cut her hair.

That day had felt like it had been years ago, and so much had happened since. She started to wonder how life would be if it all hadn't happened, but she shook the thought away. She knew that she was happy here, with him.

"Connor, can you come in here?" Liv called. Connor stepped into her bedroom from the other room and stood beside her at the mirror. For a split second, she wanted to confide in him about the numb feeling she kept feeling, but she didn't. Instead she took the scissors to the side of his face, digging underneath his LED.

"You do realize that I could do this myself, right?" Connor said.

"Yeah, but what could be more romantic than this," Liv laughed as she continued to pry it off of his skin until it finally popped off. It left a small wound that exposed some white plastic and dripped blue blood from it.

"Shit, are you okay? I didn't screw it up, did I?" Liv asked as she saw the wound.

"I'm fine," Connor said as he put his hand up to the wound and healed the skin. Now it was completely unnoticeable that an LED was once there. He really looked human, "Thank you."

"You're welcome," she stood up a little taller to kiss him, "I love you."

"I love you as well," Connor kissed her forehead then looked at her with a concern glance, "You're showing signs of sleep deprivation, you should rest."

"Only if you'll lay beside me," she smirked.

"Alright."

Liv put the scissors back where they were before, and she and Connor both changed into comfortable clothing before bed. She crawled into bed, and Connor laid beside her. She wrapped herself around him, her head by his shoulder.
