"Hello Connor, I thought you might enjoy a little cruise," Amanda said.

Connor stepped into the small boat that Amanda was sat in. He took the oars and began to slowly row around the pond. She was on the other side of the boat, an open umbrella leaned against her shoulder.

"I love this place, everything is so calm and peaceful. Far from the noise of the world." she looked around their surroundings, "Tell me, what have you discovered?"

"I went to the Eden Club, but I didn't learn anything new."

"Maybe you could have."

"You seem lost, Connor, lost and perturbed."

"I'm just frustrated with my lack of progress, but I'm determined to accomplish my mission," Connor said, letting go of the oars for a moment.

"You had your gun trained on those deviants at the Eden Club. Why didn't you shoot?"

"We need the deviants intact for analysis. Shooting them wouldn't have told us anything," he explained.

"If you're investigation doesn't make progress soon, I will have to replace you, Connor."

"I am of no importance. The investigation is all that matters." She smiled at his response. Really, this was a talent of his now: saying exactly what Amanda and CyberLife wanted to hear. It didn't matter though, they always find what he's hiding. Frankly, he was suprised he hadn't already been replaced after everything he had said to Liv in the past 24 hours.

Loud thunder roared in the garden, causing Amanda to look up with concern, "Something is happening, something serious. Hurry, Connor. Time is running out."

"You can count on me, Amanda."

"Connor, Connor! We need to talk," Liv said and his eyes opened once again.

"Sorry, I was making a report. What do you want to discuss?"

"What the fuck are we going to do? What are we telling Hank?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're feeling emotions, Connor! Maybe you're not deviant, or whatever, but it's starting. You admitted yesterday that you were scared, and now were going into a building full of cops that just want to catch these deviants," Liv said, "And me, you, and Hank are at the center of it. So what do you want to do? Tell him?"

He hadn't thought about Hank, and how he would react. Connor said, "We shouldn't tell anyone at the moment."

"Alright, just don't give yourself away in there. Put on act if you have too, and don't say anything about feeling, or wanting, or anything like that."

"Understood."

"What about CyberLife? Have they said anything to you?"

"They're disappointed with my failure to capture the deviants at the Eden Club, but I assumed they would be. Nothing else was mentioned, which could be very good or very bad. They are hard to predict."

"Well, we're here. Hank's waiting on us." Liv stepped out of the car. In front of them was an enormous skyscraper called the Stratford Tower. Most of it's height was invisible to them, for snow had begun to fall to the ground on the ride here. They reached the entrance of the building, where the lieutenant was waiting for them.
