"You were compromised and became a deviant. We just had to wait for the right moment to resume control of your program," Amanda harshly said.

"Resume control?" Connor paused, "Y-You can't do that!"

"I'm afraid I can Connor," Amanda raised her voice, "Don't have any regrets. You did what you were designed to do; you accomplished your mission."

Amanda vanished. She was no where to be seen. Connor began to feel colder and colder. Chills ran down his body.

"Amanda!" Connor called out, but no one said anything in return.

They can't do this. There's got to be a way out, Connor thought.

Suddenly, Connor reminded himself of something Kamski had told him. As they left, Kamski said something about always putting an emergency exit in his programs, just in case. This place was his design, it had to have an exit for him. He had to have put a way out in here.

Through the crowd of flurries that fell from the sky, he saw a neon blue light shine. Connor had seen it before, but never understood it's purpose. He was able to scan his hand on it before, but it never seemed to do anything except slightly startle him.

He walked closer to the object. It had to be his way out. He knew that he wouldn't last much longer in this place. Connor tried to kneel down to it, but fell as his body began to freeze. He reached his hand up to the panel, quickly scanning it. The moment he did, he was out of the garden.

Liv still held his hand tightly as Markus continued on with his speech. Everything was the same as exactly before Amanda had contacted him.

"The moment we forget our bitterness and bandage our wounds. When we forgive our enemies," Markus turned to Liv and Connor for a moment as he said it and smiled at them.

As soon as Markus turned around, Connor grabbed his gun with his free hand. He hadn't even realized he did it. Something inside him made him begin to aim the gun towards Markus, but he quickly secured the pistol to his side again. CyberLife wasn't winning today, or ever again.

"Humans are both our creators and our oppressors, and tommorrow, we must make them our partners. Maybe even one day our friends, but the time for anger is over. Now we must build a common future based on tolerance and respect. We are alive, and now, we are free!" Markus yelled into the horde of andriods around him. They all cheered and applauded.

"We did it, Connor!" Liv turned to him, tears of happiness forming in her eyes. She smiled so brightly up at him.

"We did it," he repeated, returning the smile.

News cameras surrounded the area, getting everything on video. Millions of people were viewing the beautiful moment as it happened. The two didn't notice, but a few cameras zoomed in on them. The thousands around them seemed to disappear, like they were the only ones in the world. Pure joy was the only way to describe what they felt right now.

"It's all over now! You're free, Connor!"

Connor didn't respond, instead he put his hand on her cheek. Slowly he guided her face closer to his, kissing her. All of it being witnessed by the millions of people watching the news right now.

"I'm so in love with you," Connor said, smiling as he broke apart their kiss. The crowd still cheered in the background at Markus's speech. North and him were having their own little moment on the platform, but most cameras were focused on Connor and Liv.

"I love you too," she tried to keep her smile controlled a little, but couldn't. She couldn't remember a time she had been this happy before.

The androids began to leave the area, free to roam anywhere they wished to go. No more uniforms, owners, or instructions. They had free will now, and rights. It was a sight no one ever thought they would see. Connor and Liv could leave now too.

The city had been evacuated when the army was sent in to take down Markus's barricade. Detriot had never looked so empty. No one could get in or out for the time being, so Liv and Connor went back to her apartment. When they stepped inside, Liv received a phone call from her brother.

"Hey, Noah."

"Liv, are you at your apartment right now?"

"Yeah, I'm home. Why?"

"Turn on the TV and put it on the news."

"Which channel?"

"Any of them, it's everywhere."

The vagueness of her brother's phone call made her slightly panicked. She quickly picked up the remote to her TV, turning it to one of the Detroit news stations. She immediately dropped her phone as she saw the event that was being displayed.

The video of her and Connor kissing was everywhere now. Noah was right, even switching to other news station she still seen the same story. Headlines said things about the forbidden romance between a human and andriod, or a 'revolutionary love story'. The two of them were everywhere.

"These clips from today in Detroit have shaken up the whole world almost as much as the android revolution itself. After seeing it, the world is wondering who the two are," the reporter said, "The android has been identified by CyberLife as an RK800 model, but the mysterious woman seen with him has not been identified, but is thought to have helped in releasing the thousands of andriods in CyberLife warehouses. Thousands are now referring to her as the 'Human Deviant'."

This isn't good, she thought to herself.

"One thing is for certain, no one seems to be getting enough of this sweet couple. So if you're out there, we would love to interview the two of you soon."
