1 year later
Connor tapped his foot, patiently waiting for what he was sure was going to be the happiest moment of his life. The time couldn't seem to pass quickly enough. Which was pretty ironic, considering only a little over a year ago, the two of them swore that they wouldn't get married before Noah's wedding. Yet here they were.
He proposed to her a year ago, expecting to get turned down, but she said yes. He still didn't know what changed her mind, but he didn't know what changed his either. Whatever it was, he was happy with Liv and couldn't wait another minute.
Life was good and they were getting married. Considering what his entire life has consisted of since he was created, that sounded like just some daydream. However, it was all happening right now.
Conan had reentered their lives a few months ago, now that he had finally had the chance to figure out who he was. He told them he had met someone who he really cares about, and around the same time, Noah had said the same exact thing. Conan and Noah walked into the wedding together, arms interlocked.
Following him was Markus, who was happy to see the first human/android wedding firsthand, and even happier to see his friends happy together.
Then Hank, his best man, who had turned into more of a father figure to both Connor and Liv every single day.
And finally, Connor walked down the aisle and stood in front of Hank. He eagerly looked down the aisle, looking for Liv.
Several minutes passed and no one ever came. Finally, North came out dressed for the wedding. However, everyone noticed that the bride was not behind her.
"She's not here," North said, panicked.
"What do you mean?" Connor asked.
"Liv isn't here. I've looked everywhere for her; she's just gone."

1 hour earlier
North had been busy fixing Liv's hair all day for her big day. After they were done, she put on her dress and looked stunning. The young woman would have usually objected to wearing anything like this, but even she had to admit that it looked amazing.
She twirled her dress slowly as she hummed a soft song to herself as she imagined dancing with Connor later tonight. Liv couldn't contain her joy for today. She was ready to say that she was Connor's wife. Nothing could bring down her mood today.
"I'll be honest, I didn't think you and Connor would ever get married," North said.
"I didn't think we would either, but then he asked, and I just knew that this was exactly what I wanted. I've always had my life completely planned out, and it was never anything like this, but North-" She smiled, "I love everything about it."
"How did he ask anyway? I don't think you ever told me."
"I'm not sure if Connor had really planned to ask me," she laughed for a second as she recalled the moment, "We said before that we were never getting married, ever. Then out of no where, we're talking at work and he asks me.
"But like I told you, somehow, I knew this is what I want. It's everything I've ever wanted."
"You two are perfect for each other. I wish I could have a love like you two. I wanted Markus and Simon to be together, but now that they are- I don't know. With Noah and Conan, and Markus and Simon, and Connor and you, it's starting to feel like there isn't anyone left in Detroit to fall in love with," North said, taking a seat next to Liv.
